- In the region between São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, a unique house stands out, perched upon one of Paraty's legendary 365 islands. Two concrete structures jut out from the slope, balancing masterfully within the rugged landscape. Entering the living space, renowned designer furniture adorns spacious areas with breathtaking views of the sea. All roofs are terraces, providing lookout points for residents, as well as gardens adorned with sculptures and medicinal plants.

Whatever you are trying to achieve by building such houses, they are killing it before you even get there
Large roof overhangs add beauty and protect the doors, windows and siding from rain and sun damage.
Architects need to include larger overhangs in their plans and drawings.

I've wanted to build a house like this for years....a house surrounded by nature. The only problem I can't figure out is how do I keep the mosquitoes, wasps, bees and other insects out? Any advice?
That is related to a good design. If it doesn’t resolve that problem, it isn’t.

O clima/estilo da filmagem não valorizou a arquitetura e muito menos a natureza. Acredito que se fosse um estilo mais vívido ia mostrar muito mais a integração natureza-arquitetura.

Casa construída em área PÚBLICA de preservação ambiental. Foi construída POR UM DOS DONOS DA GLOBO - caiu fora quando se tornou público o absurdo que foi a construção dessa casa, porque essa turma adora fingir que não tem nada com nada, mas se acham os donos do país. Manipulam a opinião pública diariamente para lucrar em cima da ignorância e inocência de um povo majoritariamente trabalhador, jogando xadrez com a opinião pública. Arquitetura não serve de nada se está em favor da destruição do meio-ambiente e de corporações ligadas ao que há de pior na sociedade. Se o BNDES pedir a conta para esses canalhas, a casa cai.
Fiquei pensando nos mosquitos e insetos, na segurança, se tiver alguma emergência já era. Achei moderna demais, meio nyemeyer, não gostei. Fora a questão ambiental.

Always a woman walking in the videos, we are in 2024, time to change, it looks like you guys got stuck in the 50's, other channels do almost the same type of content as you and there are also men walking around the house, simple but it changes everything. Sad to see that it looks like it never occured to you while doing the videos...
Also, while I love modernism, and brazilian modernism, a block of concrete buit in a natural protected area like that should not be showcased in videos as you do. I'm sure there are a lot of other gorgeous houses done by intelligent architects that respect a little bit more the planet and the country they are in. You are a media, as so, you have an impact on a large scale of people on what you want to show and share, you should make your content knowing that and taking it into consideration.
Stop with the cheap feminism, focus on architecture!!!!
