Mangrove is better eating though. Next time use pliers on those hooks, never seen someone so lucky with fingers near a snappers mouth and come away without a clamped on finger. I worked on a boat in this marina for two years. You can fish the bay just not the marina. It’s full of cats, mangrove snapper, and small sharks with an occasional big one.

We use to fish there, but last August they had no fishing signs up.
