WHY DOES THIS NOT RESONATE WITH MANY BLACK PEOPLE THAT WE MUST RE-CONNECT TO GOD, BE HOLY AND OBEY GOD'S COMMANDMENTS?!
MANY BLACK PEOPLE ARE STILL DEBATING/ARGUING AS TO IF THERE IS A GOD OR THAT THERE IS MORE THAN ONE GOD OR CAUGHT UP ON THE LIE THAT AFRICANS WERE NOT THE ORIGINAL CHRISTIANS OR THAT BLACK PEOPLE ARE JEWS OR THAT THE HOLY SCRIPTURES WAS MANIPULATED, ETC. ETC.!
IT IS 2024 - DO WE STILL NOT KNOW THE COMMANDMENTS?
HOW MANY MORE BOOKS DO WE HAVE TO READ BEFORE WE KNOW THE COMMANDMENTS?!
HOW MANY UA-cam VIDEOS DO WE HAVE TO WATCH BEFORE WE KNOW THE COMMANDMENTS?!

)_AFRICA IS NOT PSYCHOLOGICALLY & SPIRITUALLY PREPARED TO ACCEPT THE DIASPORA)_
That's what I would say to any diaspora--either way, there are some diaspora who will find their way and settle in, but not all who go there are going to have the same positive experience
We have to wait till the divine intervention changes the condition on the ground because this is guaranteed to change.
Our DNA is going to be reactivated and our level of consciousness will be elevated to a higher vibration, which will place the black in a position to lead. this is where the love for each other and the unity that it comes with will kick in. Till then, the Diaspora can go there at their own risk, it might work or then again, it might not

I am a Black American. I can trace my father's family to North Carolina 1796 and my mother's to South Carolina 1820. Although our beginnings were as slaves-I am proud of my culture and family. I know that before that many of my ancestors came from Africa. DNA testing has allowed me to identify many of the nations we derive from. I have always wanted for there to be a real Pan African alliance between us in the diaspora. HOWEVER, time and time again I have been told either directly or indirectly that I am lazy, an aka, and that I have no culture. I am tired. I no longer want to be a Pan Africanist-and this is hurtful- because I will not force anyone to like me or my People-my fellow Black Americans. I would love to visit some of the countries specifically in west central and eastern Africa but would not ever move to Africa and be treated like an outsider. America is my home. For those who disagree, I wish you luck. Foe me, I am fine where I am.

I think most people would like to leave America because many of us see the handwriting on the wall for America. I am in my 70's with a small family and a widow. Health facilities at my age is important in any country. I have a decent retirement having worked 34 years and manage my income well. I don't want to go to another country at this age and be uncomfortable. I had the good fortune of traveling to Ghana. There are things that I liked, but there are things that I saw that needs a lot of improvement. They are a young country and there are certain things at this stage of life I am not willing to tolerate. I have traveled to at least seven countries and enjoyed my travels but was glad to get back to my family. I would love to have enough money to have a home in a place outside of America that I loved and be able to bring my small immediate family with me.

Africa is great for the young African diaspora and some retired folks. We are the Frontier and paving the way for many Black people. Its usually hard in the beginning. But I think it will be worth it. This is why the Chinese, Indians and European are there. Their children may end up running the show. They tend to have more endurance. Its important we understand to make Africa Great for us it will take sacrifice. But in the end it will be simply marvelous and worth it. My daughter has a girlfriend living and helping to build Tanzania. Shes digging holes for water and killing mosquitos 🦟 but she said she will never move back to America permanently. Sometimes you have to struggle to get what you want. It will be most likely be worth it in the end.

Similarly GoBlack I've traveled the world over and I've thought some very similar things. If you stay in any place long enough you will notice its flaws. Very often the very things you fall in love with are the very things that will drive you crazy after a longer period of time. A simpler life comes at a cost. A luxury life comes at a cost. It all comes at a cost. There is not perfect place. I had my heart set on retiring in Vietnam, then Colombia, lately Panam. After spending time in Colombia, I've realized it isn't perfect either, neither will Panama be. I've worked hard all my life to retire early. So, I'm in search of the method of living and a place of living that works right for ME. The latest incarnation is that I think I will just spend several months in one location, then come home for a period of time. It may include multiple locations. The point is I won't know until I try it. I went from having my mind set, to a decade later awakening to absolutes being a problem. For sure you said it best, you have to grow into an understanding. And for sure, over time you change and so too does your understanding.

I was born in Angola 45 years ago. We left to Europe when I was a toddler and I personally never went back. I've lived in Switzerland since my teenage years. Frankly, I admire you for your courage to go back to Africa. I could never. I know my place and I know I would be extremely unhappy there. In my personal opinion, there's absolutely nothing wrong with Africa. Africa represents an amalgamation of cultures, belief systems, a set of interactions that we must respect and abide by if we want to be optimally integrated. Speech styles often lean toward indirect communication, emphasizing politeness, respect, and maintaining harmony (things move slower). Hence the affinity Africa has with China, another country that strongly emphasizes indirectness, high context, and non-verbal cues. In the West we prefer direct, low-context communication (explicit and clear) because we value clarity and efficiency. It simply facilitates quick decision-making and problem-solving. This WILL be perceived as rude / aggressive in cultures that value indirect communication and use high-context communication (implicit and reliant on context and non-verbal cues). Me, I value order, structure, discipline, compliance to the highest standards, efficiency, spotless and green streets, on-time transportation, personal space, quiet mornings on the weekends and quiet evenings all week. The truth is, if I were to go back to Africa, I would behave like a little colonizer who would try to transform Africa into a little Switzerland and Africa would have the right to send my behind back to Europe. That's not my place and it's utterly condescending. I am racially tied to Africa but I don't belong in Africa. Africans don't need me to "save" them from themselves. They don't need me to "help" them understand who they are. They don't need me to "wake" them up and show them the road to emancipation and sovereignty. They don't need the "western wiseness" I "possess". They cannot help me heal and reconcile the trauma associated with our collective history. So, I decided, with difficulty and humility, to respect Africa and leave it alone a long time ago. Much success to you. May you find the African or Western country that suits your inner mechanisms and allows you to function optimally from a psychological standpoint.

I remember very clearly when his wife and daughter serenity visited Tanzania, Kenya to Dubai.
They did family LIVE broadcast. His wife is a doctor and made clear she has no intention of moving to Africa because of her profession and other situations.
She went ahead to narrate that she's a mother of six children in her previous marriage and she was also taking care of her aged parent in Ohio.
With all the aforementioned, it won't be possible for her to relocate to Africa in foreseeable future but she will be visiting according to her.
I understood her position. I felt for her as a woman like myself- we have so much family obligations and responsibilities in our shoulders. This expat lifestyle might be putting strain on his marriage.
GO BLACK Decision may've been anchored ⚓️ on family issues and he's trying to make look like African issues.

Your view points about Africa has developed tremendously which demonstrates your level of intelligence. Compared to when you first started this journey, you now provide a lot More constructive criticism about Africa; you realize Africa is not perfect nor is any continent/ country perfect. Not only that, you realize that Africa is not a pla ce for all So called Blacks to return to permanently. You must apply robust analysis to any place you visit: you must know the laws pertaining to property purchases; you must acquire the language and customs. You must understand the social Dynamics of every country. You must comprehend the psychology of the people.👍🏽🕍🕌 P.S. Your ability to adjust to Your observation shows a highly evolved intellect. Yes, I may get opportunities to travel to those so called developed destinations, but thats a concept that is relative. We might have been taken from the shores of Africa, the Western coast. But was that where we truly came from? Only God knows. At this point Africa does not have to be where I run to. Places in Latin America and the Caribbean with a large black population seems to be a better fit for me.

What you are saying is that you do not want to be a part of finding your way in the Continent. At lot of African Americans do not want to be a part of rebuilding, and dealing with it's flaws. I definitely understand your feelings. However, we as African Americans we have become too comfortable and use to accessibility. In the near future a lot of other countries will encounter some of the same flaws. It's going to definitely take time before the Continent heals. Other countries see it's potential (China, Russia, India, white americans ,etc), and they are flooding in, while African Americans are leaving in droves. Sad scenario.

I know, but when you're use to a certain lifestyle, plus you don't have the tolerance for the delays and time it takes to get things done, especially coming from a society that responded almost instantly and it is to be noted many service standards are falling in the west especially since covid, it just might not suit.
I think he gave enough to understand his possible change of views, and it is a learning process for us onlookers. He's saved many thousands from the glamourised portrayal of the continent and it's people and the upheaval of their lives.
My first visit to the Caribbean as an 11 year old in 1972 was a complete culture shock and back then it was the no light in some homes, no inside toilets and bathroom and cooking outside that was mostly people in the countryside from some of what I've seen some parts of Africa are not even to that level in 2024.
By the way, virtually everyone has elevated to the modern in Jamaica even if its a wood and zinc construction attached to their homes.
Parts of Africa are not there yet, and some of these countries are oil rich, and it does not make sense.
I think he hasn't shown the worst of what he's seen in respecting these people at that stage, and that can be hard to see on a daily basis. 😢
The best years of his life are behind him, so I think he has to choose what's right for him for his future.
I've started my own research on Africa recently as I want to witness the changes as it rises, but I was truly shocked at some of what I've discovered by other UA-camrs.
      Thanks for your honest response.😊

Every country has its own issues and each person must decide for themselves what they are willing to deal with. The future of Africa rest in the coming generations, whether they learn from the mistakes of the past or not, no one moving to Africa in middle to senior age is going to influence the direction of any country there, unless they have an abundance of money, patience and sense to help those who live there chart the way to a better future for themselves. All of those perks are being paid for, with American tax dollars... Furthermore, being a hard worker is essentially a meaningless metric... For example, you could easily argue that all of the British Colonizers were also hard workers... LOL! A thief could be a hard worker, for example. Being a hard worker doesn't tell you about the moral character, of a person. Besides, these people are also most likely U.N. Soldiers, who are also being pre- positioned in order to institute Martial Law... These international globalists are planning to trigger some sort of extreme crisis, on American soil, in the not too distant future... It might be another pandemic, a nuclear detonation, or an Islamic terrorist event. It might even be a combination of all of those things...

Many people are not admitting the fact that we diasporians of the formely enslaved are a different species. This is not a feeling of superiority, it is truth. Most of us are stranger in strange land. You are right we are of a different spirit. Whether some like it or not we are wanders trying to find a home. Yes, we deserve great, we have work for it and there is a home here on earth for us all and our people. I can imaging how Toussaint felt when he liberated Haiti. Finally a place where his people are free to live their lives. If they were left alone that country would have been greater than their counterpart. They said we are the.....region whatever that means, so where is our home? Africa is our ancestral home and we love it and our brothers and sisters. My opinion which many ignore is: African countries from where most of us was taken should volunteer to give acres of land the diasporians of the......regions so we can live as our spirit wants. We want rest! We are disatisfied with our birth home, unable to fully embrace all our African_ness. I can hear the disappointment in this video of what you have seen in your travel. I also hear the hope. We do deserve greater, our children deserve more. The main issues with us is we have come to the nine months of pregnancy, its time to birth and exist the womb. Lets pray to the most High to direct us here on earth until He call us home. Abraham leave his birth home looking for a country that God has promised Him. God allow us to be uprooted and He will find us that place where he wants to plant us. Blessings all.
