Nik on the Xenium Demoparty 2024

This summer I was struggling with a severe depression and I'm still feeling the after-effects of it. I was also in an unenviable mood to make this video before the next Easy Allies Community Showcase, and so this vlog/report is a lot more unprofessional than my usual videos.
I made it without a script, and with an improvised voiceover while holding and fidgeting with my microphone in hand, and barely speaking directly into it, which is why my vocal is muffled and distant. However, I still wished to relay some impressions and document my time spent at the Xenium demoparty in Lodz, Poland, so I still hope some of the flavour of that place manages to pass on through this clip. Apologies for being really despondent. Just know that I'm still working on the new Demo Nik episodes as well as the Q&A episode.

It's "Multipaint"! A really brilliant and versatile software tailored for so many platforms: Other than the C64 it can also do the ZX Spectrum, the Atari 8-bit, the ST, and even in a recent update it can cover the Amiga. I find it far more useful than any other software for painting on the C64. I know there are people who prefer Pixcen but it just didn't work out for me.
