This is fantastic, I would greatly enjoy some more map creation videos from you! I've been needing more content like this on dungeon draft. I'm not the most creative, but I would love to be able to give more to my players and seeing things like this really helps!
I **DO** currently have a bit of time off, though I am largely occupied with managing my ARMA 3 unit. I had hoped to be able to produce one or two more videos, and any kind of feedback helps get back into the mindset :) Cheers!
@@MadLetter In our discord with a few other guys who DM we live streamed your time-lapse and that's what got them into wanting this as well! Good stuff!
Keep going, you'll be able to make maps like this in no time! :) Thanks for the kind words -- I do plan to keep doing a few of these videos when I make maps!
Love the video and process, learned a lot from this! Quick question, my tag list shows up as each tag separated by a line break, whereas yours shows them as more condensed and easier to navigate, is there an option that I'm overlooking?
Hey there, thanks for the comment, been a while since I posted this video! I do not think I set any kind of option to get it how it shows it on my end. Might be a version difference? I looked at my current version and it is also line-by-line.
Hi! Nice map for such a short amount of time! I was wondering what asset pack you used to get the path that served as an elevation difference to the water at 0:20. My dungeondraft doesn't have it and it would be very useful to have!
Hey Matt! If yo don't have that path, update your DungeonDraft, it is not an asset pack, but a new addition to the "Toxic Pangolin" version of DungeonDraft! All vanilla in this one! :)
Wow love the map! Excellent work! I have just purchased the tool. Haven't used it yet. Really excited to get started! Just come onto UA-cam to see some tutorials. New subbie and looking forward to seeing more of your maps. Thank you for sharing!
hey love the work, can you do a video on designing a fort/walled defensive area? having trouble making one look good but making enough room for fights to take place on the wall
Hey there. I have made a bit of a city walls map and recorded it. The video will start uploading tomorrow (need to delete the music and replace it with legit royalty free stuff and cut my own voice out) but you can see the map here: madletter.net/dd_maps/wall.png
Love the video and the map, (you just make mine look bad). Any chance for getting the Dungeondraft file as would like to be able to import it directly into Foundry?
Hey there, sorry for the much-delayed response, I didn't see the comment. If you'd like the DungeonDraft file, you can get it here: www.madletter.net/dd_maps/water-cove.dungeondraft_map If it opens as text, you just need to save it out as a *.dungeondraft_map file or download the zipped full version: www.madletter.net/dd_maps/water-cove.zip
I really didn't appreciate the work that goes into some of these maps until I saw someone else actually make one. Great video. :D
These maps can be either really quickly made or with a lot of time and care! Happy you like the video, its good stuff! :)
What a beautiful work. I learned much, thanks for posting it.

Incredible! Thank you for putting up content like this.
Thank you kindly!
Just started using Dungeondraft. Your video is very inspiring!
I'm just learning how to use the tool, but you seem to have already mastered it. just by watching this I have so many ideas now. please keep this up!

I'm really loving your map-making content! Do you have all of your maps available for download somewhere?
Is there a way to use a pen as the input device for dungeondraft? Apple pencil or wacom tablet perhaps?
You can use it as mouse, though none of the pressure-sensitive options will function.
@@MadLetter Thank you

Can you use that animated water in foundryvtt thatd be sick
Not yet, but I have some reasonable suspicion that it may be a feature that is upcoming. To be fair, that is just a hunch!

What assets did you use for objects?
Can you do update videos on new features when the app gets updated?
Great video. I have been debating getting Dungeondraft. Are all of these base assets or are any custom imports?
Not OP - but theses are all base assets.
Heya love the build! Do you use any asset packs?
They said in their reddit post that this is built using no asset packs, but they've just added a bunch of 2 minute table top assets
you use huion!
