I went to see TROS yesterday and tbh I was pretty disappointed by the movie, but Rey and Ben's dynamic was INCREDIBLE. I was just waiting for their next scene the whole time lmao ofc I was rooting for the original trio as well, but they barely had any scenes in this ;///
You may think that I'm a stone or smth but I didn't cry when Ben died. Idk I just didn't feel it right then and there but when I got home and started watching Reylo edits I just teared up lol. He literally gave his life to save Rey and she didn't even see him as a force ghost at the end :| They did us so dirty.
Honestly his smile after she kissed him was the purest thing ever, JUST LOOK AT HIS FACE, this is what I call "compassion" if u know what I mean hehe ;)
This is one of the few edits I actually liked while doing it but when I watched the whole thing I was pretty much disappointed uh... I still hope you'll like it cuz I tried my best lol. And sorry AGAIN for that fucking sound at the middle idk how it happens but this is the third video that is ruined in that way. I'm so done with svp I swear lol.

I cried so much more with the second viewing of the movie. They made us fall in love with Ben and his smile. If they ended the movie there, that would have been acceptable, but they didn't. I read somewhere about the dyad and force abilities that he maybe between worlds. I don't recall the original trilogy doing this much damage to our hearts. We didn't feel as connected to Vader in the original trilogy since we didn't see his face. So when he gave his life for his son, it didn't hurt like this one.
Also Vader was way older than Ben and fully fallen to the dark side before he redeemed himself, while Ben never fully accepted the dark side as he never truly"completed his training" as snoke said..which makes it even all much more depressing that his character was wasted like that

So, I went to see The Rise of Skywalker coz I was forced to. I’ve never watched a Star Wars film in my life before Friday but let me tell you, it took one scene of these two together for me to decide that I’m going down with this ship. They’re adorable, I love them, I’m obsessed.

My wife never really cared for Star Wars could never get her to watch it finally talked her into going and seeing episode 9 with me because I already had purchased the tickets I had a buddy cancel on me do to family troubles. The one thing that interested her more than the beautiful effects was this connection between Ben and Rey she has recently decided to watch all the Star Wars movies episode 9 was her favorite

Exactly!!!! after the TROS. I bought the other Original DVD. to watch back all the scenes. from TFA, TLJ. ..omg how come last time i didn't realize it. Now i ship them so hard!!!! last time i laugh at my husband why he so crazy about Star Wars. Now his turn laughing me back why am I so obsessed with Reylo. I told him...i found my chemistry...what i can see on them. the only couple what i can see is Ben Solo and Rey.... maybe Daisy and Adam..... May The Force Be With Reylo....
They kissed and I was so happy, then he smiled and it was the most beautiful sight EVER, then he dies and I haven't stopped crying since. I left the theater sad and depressed, and every time I see Reylo vids I start crying again. Disney has to fix this. Ben deserves better. This vid was beautiful. Thanks for sharing it.
I was depressed and sad when i left the theater after i saw the movie i miss Ben. Now every time i watch videos or look at pictures of ben i get sad and cry 😢

Yeah, the belonging she seeks isn't behind her, it's ahead... For like, 5 minutes of unity, then he drops dead. Such a beautiful and inspiring love story that gives Rey the eternal bond and belonging she's yearns for. -.-

Totally agree. In life or death they should be together not apart. It wouldn't have felt great if they died, but rather both dead and together in the Force than what we got.
Santesia Thomas Excatly! If they're a dyad in the force, and one that balance each other, one of them died so it will be inbalanced. Doesn't make sense to me. And in the last fight between Rey and Palp, Ben should have been there with her to fight him. My major complain about the movie.

@@TheSilentAgent agreed I feel like Ben solo should have been the one to finally end Palpatine in my opinion the role should have been reversed Ben died killing off Palpatine and Rey gives her life to save him. At the very least make them both survive

Apparently disney said the end symbolized they both have to live he Is the dark she is light but because she died and he couldn't bare to see her dead he passed his life forced and himself into her so they both live together and that's why u didn't see him at the end and when she she was asked her name she said Skywalker cause she took bens heritage
I thought this as well. And that is a beautiful explanation. BUT there could have been so many ways for them to create balance in the Force by living, both of them. Because in this movie, Rey showed that she's not fully Light the same as Ben is not fully Dark. They bring the balance in each other and could have taught each other how to wield both sides of the Force. The official is beautiful but I'm just salty that Anakin's family story ends so tragically.

THEORY
We know that things can change their place, it was proven when Rey passed Ben the lightsaber. So what if Ben Solo is alive just somewhere else.
It's been said the dyad can do that. I'd love it if that were true, but it appeared to be death and absorption into the Force as per usual. I'd also accept a Force-induced pregnancy, since Ben's hand was on her womb, and the Skywalkers themselves originated through Midi-chlorian manipulation. Ben's clearly powerful enough to manage that.
@@stephaniemitchell8509 especially with the force bond assisting with conception. Anakin was a child of the force, and so it's not too out of the realm of possibility for his great grandchild to be conceived through the force

Let's not even talk about the Han and Leia couple who were fighting all the time. Han was always gone, and when he came back he quarreled with his wife Leia in front of their son Ben. This couple left Ben with a deep sense of abandonment from an early age, which pushed him to the Dark Side.
The Reylo couple is the only Lighthouse couple in the Saga to finish well, in the sense that no one sinks into the dark side because of it.

And what I mean by that is this could have ended with them being together and ruling everything the way it should be. But but now piss poor last-minute decisions Danny dies Ben dies Jon Snow returns to where he was alone in the world doing what he started doing in the very beginning same thing happened with Rey she's all alone in the world on a desert planet pretty much exactly how she started this franchise. I hope to God they do three more movies with Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver continuing the story the hook is in all they need to do is yank. If he can yank beads out of midair or hand him a lightsaber through time and space I'm sure she can pull him out of where hes at. He was the person that should have been the ruler and leader of everyone same with Jon Snow
The last scene when she calls herself ' Rey Skywalker" didn't feel epic at all. Skywalker is a family name but this movie uses it like a brand name. There was something amiss

honestly felt like she shouldnt have said skywalker. the trilogy should have been about how even her being "nothing" was enough for ben and that she was still somebody after all. you dont have to be a somebody to be powerful with the force. but thats just my take. i really didnt like the ending of tros lol
