I totally agree also about capsule wardrobes, it's not for everyone depends on where you are in life, and how you live. I have capsule type basics and nothing to wear.. So boring.🙄
To be fair, stores will sell whatever people buy. There are plenty of out of style things still being sold, esp at places like Amazon, TJ Maxx etc. But skinny jeans still sell well for a reason! Plenty of people are still buying them :)
Hells yeah to skinny jeans!!! I've tried all different types of jeans/pants silhouettes and honestly, the skinny is the MOST flattering to my body type. 5'10 with an athletic/ hourglass shape. Wider pants just make me look wider overall, and baggy shirts often do the same when you're larger busted. My "golden ratio" is a slimmer or flared pant, and a slightly relaxed shirt tucked in the front. That accentuates my figure perfectly, without feeling like I look 20 lbs heavier 😂
Great video! I love that you said everything doesn’t have to be “styled.” I loved all the outfits you posted that were more minimalist. Many of the “styled” outfits on influencers feel stuffy to me. An example would be tee shirt, button down, blazer combo with jeans and a belt. Too much for me I know I would be uncomfortable.

Yes. the oversized styles can easily be unflattering. I’m with you on the oversized shirts, they make me double in size 🥴
