I know you hear me say I'm excited alot and that's because I truly am and at the end of the day if we aren't moving might as well make this house as amazing as we possible can! Starting with a decent addition that will serve as additional entertainment space, office, and laundry space. I truly hope that this project brings you so much motivation, too, since we do plan to tackle a majority on our own I hope to show it's possible to do somethinglike this on a reasonable budget! ❤️
thank you for being here to help make this project possible financially. Please like ,subscribe, comment, and share with a friend. my hope is to build this whole project debt free from the earnings from these videos ! thanks for helping us make this possible 💕💕

I really hope your mother is proud of you. You are the adult daughter we all want! You are the whole package! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
SO true
I hope she reads this and takes it to heart
Stackable washer & dryers are horrible in my opinion. Top load washing machines are the best!!
Love your channel!
I totally agree. My friend has stackable washer, dryer and I had to get a stool to reach the dryer buttons.
It's going to be great whatever you do
Couldn't agree more. I'm 56 years old and have owned nearly all the major brands.
After so much research we finally have a Speed Queen set. It's the kind with actual knobs.
Agree. Plus stackable will not have an agitator.
@@mary-garnermerz8208, I agree. Speed Queen is the best. I had a newer high efficiency washer and hated it. It did not put enough water in them to get clothes clean. I bought an older speed Queen washer off of Facebook marketplace and absolutely love it. When this one goes out, I will purchase a new speed queen.
You might have already thought about this, but I'll throw it out there anyway. If you do make a closet for your washer and dryer, you might want to make it a little wider than just the width of the washer and dryer. That way you can put a broom, vacuum and laundry basket inside the closet. Oh and I would put a ceiling fan in. You will wish you had if you don't haha.
and an extractor air thing ...
Take your time karri dont feel pressured to rush just to put content out you've got all the time in the world😊❤❤
You were very clear the price you mentioned was for the building, permit and cement. Looks great already, cant wait for future videos😊
Agreed. You were clear about it. Anyone who thought all the other stuff was included has some screws loose. 😅
Haha 😂😂
You were super clear before, so there's no need to apologize. Take your time. We'll be here 😊❤
Love your new building. I think the idea of a laundry closet is great. Plus, I truly think you will like leaving it one big space. Enjoy!!😊
Bldg looks great! I vote for no walls. When you start putting up walls, you lose space. Laundry closet is better. Leave in open, and you can change it up at any time. So far, your plans sound good. Can't wait to see it all come together.
I like the size. It seems like you still have plenty of space for dogs and kiddos. Tackling one thing at time is smart. Give yourself time with the kids. We'll be here whenever you post.
I completely agree with you on buying a big shed- that's the point to have more room- it all looks better already ❤
I like top load washer with agitator. My Kenmore dryer is 40 years old and still works perfectly! I looked at stacked but just not keen on them.
New building looks great. Looking foward to seeing house painted in agreeable gray.
You could do an office area on one side of building, and maybe a laundry room/closet area to left of entering the side door. That way its easier on you when going in and out with clothes. In middle of room you could do a sitting area with maybe a small fridge to keep drinks for you and others when outside. So excited to see how it comes along and what you do next!
I have no doubt you will make this building beautiful because you my friend are BAD ASS! I’m excited to be along for the journey💪🏻❤️
Hi Karrie!! Let's roll This is a huge undertaking with a lot to think about. Take your time and think about what is most important to you! I'm sure it will turn out beautiful! Breathe and do what you want. I have complete confidence that you will make the right choices in your decision.
For the laundry closet, i recommend a utility sink and a small counter. A sink can come in handy for quick handwash or rinsing if needed. We used to have one in my old house and didn’t really realize how useful it was until I didn’t have it.
So great Karrie it looks fantastic! So glad you didn't go I debt for this , now just take your time and finish as you can afford makes So much sense❤
I think the building is a great size. I wouldn’t do walls and would just do a laundry closet with some room for some storage as well. I think you definitely need a workout space too. I totally understood that it was just the building and concrete and that the rendering was what you wanted things to look like in the future. I am so excited to see this process.
You will need a front-load washer if you go with the stackable option, which I absolutely don't recommend. They never seem to clean great, even if you buy the very expensive ones (been there done that 😅). You have to constantly run the self-cleaning cycle which takes forever, and uses more water and electricity. I know by going the traditional way it might compromise space, but believe me it is worth it. Your clothes and utility bills will thank you later, and you can always build extra storage or shelves above. I personally prefer the Kenmore brand, they do a great job, last a long time and are energy efficient (I believe Lowes carries the brand now). You are super sweet Karrie, I really enjoy all your videos. Lots of love and blessings to you and your family 🥰🙏
Karrie Lynn you are an inspiration. Creative, talented, skillfull with power tools, a caring mother and wife. You are genuine this is exactly why people subscribe and enjoy your ideas and authenticity. You don't pretend to know it all. By the way, open concept works well.
I have a Samsung full-size stackable wash and dryer. It’s seven years old and I absolutely love it. I am 5 feet one and I have no problem turning the dryer on.
It is going to look great! Take your time! Do what you like and works for you and your family!
I love the old washer and dryers. I was not happy withe the front load washer at all.
I hated my front loader too. When it quit working I replaced it with a large top load washer with an agitator. I’m so happy now!
HI Karrie! I wasn't confused by your previous videos or pricing explanation and feel bad that people are questioning you so much! Whatever you do with it will be amazing! ❤
Karrie, I would section out one end of your building with a wall that is dedicated to your
w/d and your office- just 1 wall. I am a big fan of the Samsung Bespoke Laundry Tower, after doing laundry for our 41 year marriage, stackables are space and water efficient (I use a step stool to get to the very back of the dryer and it doesn’t bother me). Then, on the other side of the wall you can use it as your “screen” for your projector (our son put a WiFi/bluetooth ceiling projector, they stream everything with this, in their home and painted the wall in a gray for the “screen). The insulation foam boards are wonderful! We live in the high mountains of Colorado and when we remodeled an addition we used the boards and it works well for the extreme winter temps of -20 to 32F and the 85-95F temps of summer. Take your time and pay cash to finish your building the way you want it.
You and your husband are so cute together, the love is obvious. ❤
You can order a clothes dryer knob/dial replacement online or research appliance parts stores in your area. Just have the dryer brand name and model number, usually foung inside the dryer. So excited to see your building taking shape, and to hear your ideas and your plans. You and your husband are a great team 😃

Love all your content, none of it is boring, we all learn so much from you. Share anything that works best for you. Thanks for always sharing here.
The possibilities are endless!
Thank you Dianna ♥️♥️
@@karrielynn you’re very welcome! ❤️
We just built a building and it’s big. We did all inside, insulation and drywall as well as floors over their floors. It’s the same color as my house. We have turned it into a one bedroom apartment. We done it when we had money in pocket also. You’ll love it when you’re finished ☺️💕
Hey. Think about sound proof insulation with the laundry room closet when you build it so it won't disturb you
My vote (not that you asked!) is to leave the building open as one big area. Don’t do walls. The big open area makes it more multi-purpose in case you change your mind later. You could even set up food tables inside and host holidays and small gatherings. The ideas are endless. Congrats on the new space. I’m sure you will love it and it will get lots of use!
I love it! I know it will look great inside too. I would think about a half bath though. Whatever you do will be fantastic you are the first UA-camr I ever watched and I never miss a video from you now.
Oh gosh! I can’t wait! I’m so excited and it’s not even mine! Hahaha! I can’t wait to see how you decorate and arrange it all. ❤
I would like to say...don't worry about what others think about your shed....unless they come up with money to pay for it. It is yours and up to you to do as you wish!!! I think you are doing just fine!! Enjoy and have fun! Thanks for sharing!
I definitely think live with it with no walls for awhile, see how you actually use the space and you can always add later
Just a tip - buy the spray foam that does not expand so much. That way you won’t have to trim off the stuff that comes out on the outside.
I love your new building, Karrie! Here’s my opinion: 😂 You’ve always stated your home has a lack of storage, so I’d make a laundry room/utility closet. Big enough for a washer and dryer and enough room for shelves that can hold extra household things you have trouble finding room for in your house. That would be the only enclosed “room” I’d have in your new building, I’d leave the rest of it open. About the washer and dryer, if you want an agitator, you’d have to get top loading stackables, and from what I understand the top load stackable washers just don’t have much capacity, and if I had to struggle to fit a large blanket in my washer I’d be crabby, lol. But check on that, maybe they have bigger ones now. Btw, we moved into a house with almost brand new Whirlpool front loaders, and I had never had anything but top loaders with an agitator so I held a grudge against these new ones, until after a few months I realized they work just fine, our clothes get clean and fresh. They also use a lot less water than top loaders, and we have a septic system so that helps. My sister had front loaders (I think LG) and hated them for years, and recently got top loading Speed Queen washer/dryer set. No bells and whistles, but she loves them and says she didn’t know clothes could be so clean. It’s just so hard to know what to buy anymore, it all is designed to need replacement within 10 years. (Except for the Speed Queens, they’re supposed to last forever)
Your new space is going to be so nice when you’re done.
Top loading washing machine not not front loading for me
You will get it done. you have plenty of time. One thing at a time. Gives you something to show us. So happy for you. Can not wait to follow you on this. Peace!
Excited for you!! Hope you get some sponsorships to help you with this project! You deserve it!
As far as a stack set over the 2 pieces side by side, do you really save that much room with the doors swinging open and the space you take up loading them? Just spend your money on a new dryer to match the washer you have.
Love your channel!
I've been trying for sponsors but no luck. I truly don't think I fit the esthetic they look for sometimes. 😂😂 oh well maybe with time 🙌 yes I agree with the new dryer 😄
Slow down give ups vacation this year and buy a top and lower washer and dryer Will save loads of room. It’s lovely
So happy you have all that space, you deserve it and you will totally enjoy it.😊❤
A daikin mini split or a mitsubishi mini split is the way to go. We have a mitsubishi and works wonderful in our Louisiana humidity
Karrie. Speed queen for sure. Stackable and reliable.
You can also paint the back side of the house different than the front. I've seen that and it looks great you could tie in the colors of the addition jyst a thought
my gosh you're looking so natural & beautiful! good for you!!
Well thanks ❤️
A suggestion for when you paint your house - try to put in accents of black so that it will coordinate nicely with your new building. ❤️
Ah thrilled for you guys 🎉 no doubt you will have it looking amazing Karrie x
I have an Electrolux front load I have 2 sets I stacked them and bought them from Babcock furniture I make payments..,my laundry room looks like a commercial laundry room lol ..I have a special needs son so I do about 15 loads a day…those girls work amazing lol …love your she shed..I live in Florida my husband is a contractor he said why would you want your doors opening up inside lol but it is for Florida weather and code to open to outside…looks amazing you guys are awesome…can’t wait to see end result ….❤
I'm excited to see the process! Like others said, take your time. You're vids are in my subscription tab so when you release a new one, I'll be here to watch :) Also, it IS so hard to balance projects and spending time with your kids. Take a day off now and then and make some simple memories. We did that last weekend when a project gave us a lot of hurdles and major stress. Took a day off and went fishing and relaxed in nature. Just what we needed.
I don’t think you’ll like a stackable washer and dryer. They’re not all the cracked up to be.
anything front loading you’re gonna have issues with smells they’re hard to clean, etc..
You’d be better off with just a plain Jane, washer and dryer you would be more satisfied
I hope you are able to take advantage of using all these upgrades as a business expense for taxes for your UA-cam business 😊 I love watching your videos!
We lived in Hawaii for a year & our washer was outside & a clothes line only.
Omg!! The anticipation is killing me!! So excited for you, I know it's gonna be amazing!
Slow and steady wins the race!
enjoy your summer with family! i totally understand wanting to save up and pay for materials as you go instead of financing! take your time and really think over what your family needs for the space. even if you leave open you are so creative and i have no doubt you will figure out how to layout furniture pieces to make it work for what you plan. ❤
I know you are excited to work on your building but don't get burnt out on working/over thinking it. It will all come together like I you want it. My prayers are with you, girl. Yall have come this far, yall got it going on.
Karrie, we have a Daikin unit in our sunroom, we love it. Take your time, and do exactly what you want to do. It will be a lot of work, but it will be worth it.
So excited for you. You are a wonderful person and wish you much happiness with your future plans. On the financial side I think you are very smart. Also a u tuber who I think you will love and get so many great ideas from is The Budget Mom. She does what she teaches and has such great advice on reaching your goals. I know you will love her channel. Love your family and pets.💕
Karrie, I tell you what, I do not know of any young couples who manage their finances as well as you. Dave Ramsey really did work for you two. That’s so awesome. So many exciting upcoming videos. Can’t wait to watch you as you conquer this edition. I know it’s going to be fabulous when you are finished. 😊❤😊🙏
You and your family are absolutely adorable
I started with your older videos from years ago
I am so VERY impressed with all that you have done and how far you have come
Please be patient with yourself. It will all come along when it is suppose to
Congratulations 🎉🎈🎊🍾
You have a lot of projects ahead of you and I’m happy and excited for you I’m here for it please take your time no hurry no rush 👏🏾👏🏾❤
You can order a new knob for your dryer. I agree with wanting an agitator in the washer but I never could find one to purchase. I looked at every brand they make, however that was about 6 years ago. Hope you can find what you want.
Another awesome video like always. Perfect time for washer and dryer shopping. 4th July holiday sales and summer time sales at Lowes and Home Depot ❤❤
I love it and I love the open concept of it but I would do a bedroom for visitors and in-laws😂
Thanks for being so transparent about the financials of the building!
Absolutely ❤️❤️❤️
It is going to look so nice, once you finish! ~Karen
So happy for you and family. My husband would love a new shed, our home isn’t set up to add one. Very proud of you. ❤
Love how you are so very honest about building cost and your plans yes i know they probably going to change several times before your done i was told foaming instalattion is nice but it can cause alot of problems with weather changes hopefully it doesn't for you ..cannot wait for it to be all done ..
Yay I was just searching for you so excited I just love you 💞. See how fast I clicked 😂
Yay! Thank you! ♥️♥️ I hope you enjoy
Karrie I have never had anything but a regular washer and dryer, but my daughter has had two sets of the front loaders. I don’t know what brand they were. But the first set didn’t last but about three years. The second set that she has now the washer won’t spin out heavy things like blankets. She has to spin them multiple times. But you guys have sure put a lot of work into this. But personally I think it was worth it.Things like putting your office out there will make so much more room in your house. And having it paid for is a big plus! Good luck with your new projects. I know you’ll do a great job. You always do.
Frist is so good of you to share the cost of your building . Take your time paying as u so the best . It's going to be a big improvement for your space u needed . Happy for you hun . God bless you .
It's all gonna turn out great. Looking forward to seeing your aunts place and all the work you are planning on doing. Take care and continue to be bless.
Karrie the ideas you have for the building all sound fabulous. I know you will make it beautiful. I agree with you to close in only the laundry room and leave the rest all open. I personally dislike stackable washers and dryers. I also don't like front loader washers either. In my experience they do not wash the clothes. So excited for you. Take your time and know all your UA-cam followers will be here watching. I must say All your family must be so proud of you! You are one young lady that has it all together! I love your fun personality. God has truly blessed you Karrie. I look forward to seeing all you have planned for us. 🙏❤️🌴
There is only one question that I have that you didn't answer. Why is it anyone's business what you spent for the building? I think people have become too consumed with the affairs of others. I understand that you are on YT but goodness gracious! I'm so happy for you and for all that you have accomplished and can't wait to see the finished product...no matter how long it takes you! You do you! 💜
I agree. I don't think that we need to know all the costs. My personal business is just that personal.
I think the biggest issue with alot of these videos is that they don't share cost . I was asked if I would share so of course I didn't mind and I'm sharing. I think it's a great way to show others that adding extra space to you home is possible on a budget. ♥️ I of course keep so much of our life private finances included but sharing the cost of this building is just part of sharing the process in my opinion 😊
@@karrielynn as long as you are ok with it! You're much nicer than me! 😉
I would leave building all open except for laundry area. I agree with others on not getting stackables. There are so many problems with those, top loaders are the best. You are a hard worker so I am sure it will be done in no time so dont stress yourself out.
Hi Karrie, you simply are the sweetest! I love, love, love your channel for just too many reasons to list ☺️. You’re doing a great job!🙌🏻
Watching from Michigan…Kim
It looks so good. I think right swing exterior means when your outside facing door the right opens but yours the left opens thats probably why ppl were confused because yours is a left swing then
A right hand outswing it's determined by standing inside not from the outside. So it's right .
I think I door installs are so so confusing lol
We got rid of our LG washer and dryer and bought a stackable set...and I absolutely LOVE it.
It looks like your place is going to, transform very nicely,😊☺️. I'll bet your, addition turns out beautifully💜❤️
Hi Karrie, the building is really nice and the perfect size. I know it’s going to be a process, but I’m looking forward to seeing how beautiful it will be when y’all are finished.😊
Love your new building… I can’t wait to see it finished….you go a great job… thank you…
I’m so excited for you guys!! I can’t wait to see what you do with the new addition!! And painting your house! Make sure you take some time for you too! Take care
Looking forward to seeing the shed come together....hugs
Excited to watch the process of making this building a part of your home!
I don't like to return things either.
Our house we just bought it in October as a fixer upper and we just spent all weekend remodeling our kids bathroom, we aren't finished yet but I have to wait till I can get more money to buy the rest of materials. We still have to replace the water lines for the sink, paint, put up trim, and do backsplash around the sink top.
Just a thought, but it would be very cohesive to paint your house matching the building. Your colors are beautiful and would look beautiful when gardening is done.
Sorry, I wrote this before the rest of the show.
I am glad your sharing this video with all of us , I can not wait to see the next steps you do on this steel building .
Karrie you did not confuse me. I’m excited for the next episode!
Love your new building. I’m sure it will turn out wonderful. You are very talented. Always enjoy your vlogs.
Building is looking good! I think you can buy a kit to turn your washer and dryer into a stackable and also you can order a new knob for your dryer just need the make and model number. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the building.
I am just so excited for y’all to have this great building! I think it was a great price for the size of the building, I know there is more expense to come but still think it is great. I am horrified of wasp so I was sitting here sweating just knowing it was in the building. I got stung on my eyelid at 11 years old when I was away from home at band camp for the first time. You talk about painful, I wasn’t able to open my for 3 days and I was in pain that whole time. Anyway, I’m not sure but I don’t think you can get a washer with an agitator on a stackable unit. I think the agreeable gray would look great on your house and go well with your building. Looking forward to more videos. Take care! 😊❤😊
You are such a ray of sunshine 🌞 I love watching you, brings back good memories of my youth. Just take your time doing your new adventure ❤
Whatever you decide will be great 👍😎❤️
Hi Karrie you are doing a great job! Looking foward to your upcoming projects.
you look lovely as always!! take it one thing at a time, i just know you’ll make this new she-shed and the garden look incredible :)
I love it!
Don't do the stackable terrible this is the second set due to space never leave them running my dryer board caught on fire I was at home I know this can happen with anything just a lot of cons I would go with side by side last longer hard on the back, but I am older love your shed.
It looks wonderful ❤
