I love the energy of the RE fandom/community! ❤ The fact that this is being made by dedicated and passionate fans and the great quality this Remake has is mind blowing! Considering that this is a fan project with limited (financial) resources they pulled it off superbly. I also appreciate that there're new areas to explore and additionally that they offer both the over-the-shoulder camera and the fixed camera angle. The "itchy tasty" scene is brilliant, really creepy. Thanks to Team Arklay's for your unremitting work! 💕

This wouldn't be the place to look, then, because as good as this is, it's a remake of the remake. I want this, but the 1996 version. EVERYONE does the remake. I miss the REAL first one, though.

@@ROEnetworkboth Views are optional, based on your choice. Older fans want fixed, so we accommodate them and for those that came during RE4, we have accommodated them with over the shoulder. Now VR is something we can discuss later down the road and is being considered. I know in this video it appears that both fixed and OTS are mixed but that isn’t the case. We wanted to display both.
The current RE Engine already looks amazing! I can only imagine what the upgraded REX Engine will look like 😶

The lighting effects, ray tracing and fix camera angle adds a lot of thrill to this remake, which reminds me the surprise of BioHazard 0 and Biohazard Remake in Game Cube gave me 21 years ago

This looks so amazing . The moment with the itchy tasty was so creepy. Hunters? Dogs? Everything looks atmospheric and scary. Imagine if capcom put budget and make this. I think it will happen eventually sooner that we expect

Phenomenal work and i love that you can choose what playstyle you're most comfortable with. I wish they actually did this for RE1 & 2 remake...I know this is just an early build, but characters and gameplay mechanics still need to be polished. Other than that, the atmosphere and monsters look amazing 🔥

Okay, THIS looks absolutely amazing and I personally love we are given the OPTION to choose over the shoulder or fixed cameras. This way BOTH sides of the fandom can experience this to our heart's content!
Preferable for me (interesting for all): A combination of fixed cameras and over the shoulder view. An ingame cutscene followed by 3 or 4 fixed camera views and then camera goes with slow/weired movement over the shoulder, in combination with some enemy creep around the next corner, that would be amazing. There is so much potential left in different camera angels/movement in combinations with cutscenes and enemy comin/attacking.
Think we saw that approch in RE4R SW in Pre-stage.
I would actually consider playing it; one of the biggest I haven’t yet is the fixed camera angles.

@@jasonf4736 I for one am grateful for over the shoulder. I DESPISE fixed camera angles. That's why I appreciate anyway trying to meet us half way in things like this. It's not even scary, it's frustrating and annoying to run into every damn wall and not see clearly what you're shooting.

This looks amazing. The atmosphere and lighting are fantastic, the characters, especially the undead and Hunters look damn near flawless. The only gripe I have is the weapons sounds and their recoil; as someone who's last 30 years has been around firearms, I have a tendency to nitpick it every time I see it in all media.
Everything in this trailer looks so good, but especially the spiders! As someone who has arachnophobia, I am excited to see how scared I get of those buggers, especially with how realistic they look(the more real, the creepier, after all). Can't wait to play this when it comes out!
very nice, i like that it switches between 3rd person and fixed camera. The spiders being a different species is a nice touch. The little details as well help too.

Capcom will probably remake the remake. I imagine RE4 style gameplay, co-op between Chris and Jill in few segments while each have their own canon journey. As a fan project this is very impressive
In 1998, as a 14-year-old kid , I remembered it exactly like this.
This looks nice, but I still believe the only way to keep that claustrophobic fear of exploring the Spencer mansion is either with a fixed camera or in first person like RE7

They make a cease and desist if they are working on the same project or are interested in doing it, otherwise they don't really care.
Wow man this is incredible! I love this franchise, but I especially love how the fans took initiative and took a remake into their own hands. If Capcom steals this idea it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world but I absolutely will play this game because it's clearly a labor of love and I want to partake in that as a fan myself.
Adding the camera angle choice is a nice touch, and tbh for a fan made game the VA didn't sound bad either

the detail on the monsters is what sells it for me, especially with the hunters who seem to be based on the RE3 remake parts, with the split like jaws and hyper aggressive pattern, also the gore, like that shot of Joshep's corpse and the dogs...yeah just like you imagined what the dogs did to him in the original Resident Evil.
That don’t make sense though ? In re3 that’s an advanced version of the hunter we see in re1

If this is supposed to be a remaster, or Christ forbid another (( remake )), why the hell would I want to play as the chapped Jill Valentine who already starred in a failed entry? At the least, add a option to switch between the better options of the previous ones. they must be getting desperate if they are attempting to redo what was lightning in a bottle.

I'm looking forward to this! I'm currently replaying Resident Evil HD for about the 7th or 8th time, so I'm hoping that the all new remake version will have the same level of replayibility!
Im very impressed with this fan made trailer. If capcom did give you an option of fixed or OTS they would be pleasing both fans of the game styles and not just going with OTS. But its remarkable how fans of the series can always produce great results.

The very fact that they are using the bad (not) Jill from the 3rd (whatever that was supposed to be) remake? game is all i need to know of the game's "quality". There's no way in this universe they could meet that legendary bar of quality they did 20 years ago with the first game and its re-release that hit steam. Heck, when you peel back that Onion, they could not even do that with the recent batch of remake games.

There are a quite few elements here that would work for a RE1 remake. Really nice.
Now THIS is Remake! Nice extra added features like the humanoid monster and rooms. RE 1 and 2 are the most RE Games held to true horror as intended that made them blockbusters. Will definitely be getting this.
