Maybe if you mount the camera in the mount so that the tightening is on the right, it should be able to tilt ti vertical. Also the red safety pin in the mount is only there to prevent your camera from sliding out of the mount if it is slightly loose. They are all the same. Nothing is "fool proof".
Sirui make great tripods. very affordable. i dont have this one, i have the ST-124. superb piece of kit. Its very light and very rigid. Im sure this is as well, but i felt it a bit too short for me. Also i hve two sirui monopods, one with feet, Again great peice of kit.
Nice review. The central column cant be lowered, only raised from its base position. How do you feel that in daily use? I mostly need it for landscape and travel. Will that be a bother for my shots?
@@F4H33M97 Yes you can avoid it. The protruding center column makes it rather unstable, even under mild wind. I have tested that kind of tripod (Rollei Traveler) with my small Fuji and have sent it back immediately.
@@MrBubinski777 @jean-charles9931 Just to add to this and potentially others who see this, I bought this tripod and it's been absolutely fine for me (main use in astrophotography). If the tripod is wobbling, just let it settle before you take the photo
Thank you for this review as it was helpful in deciding a good travel tripod for my Sony AX700. Sending aloha from Hawaii!
Thank you A. Perez Voyages! Glad to help you! Greetings from Holland!
Very nice video brotha, thank you!

Hi, can i attach phone clip to it?
yes
Do you have a link? There’s so many tripods on the site and I want to make sure I get the same one
That's great
It's not suitable for long exposures.
why is it not?

@@F4H33M97 Because long exposure photography requires a very stable tripod, or the image will be soft.
