Looks like a very promising piece of gear, good size, good ergonomics, and no silly center column. Excellent review. Appreciate it. I think I'll pull the trigger on this guy.
You're videos are so calming. Having kids, I usually watch my favourite YT channels during breaks from work or family and I usually turn off the sound. But with your videos I always feel the urge to turn up the volume.
So glad to hear that mate! I strive for the calm feeling in my videos, but I don’t want them to be boring, and there’s a fine line there😁 Thanks for watching my videos, I really appreciate it!
Man, I was looking for travel tripods because I'm going to northern Sweden next month and I stumbled with your video, so convinient! Thanks for the review, very helpful.
I'm so amazed by your photography and videography. I'm a second-year film student and your style is a big inspiration. I've made a film plan for a documentary that I've been wanting to shoot for years now and I am going to start soon. I feel comfortable in pre-production and the directing side of things, but I really want to get better at handling the camera too. Is there a possibility that you could make a tutorial on how you do your editing? Specifically, the color grading is so beautifully done. As someone not so experienced in using the camera (yet), it would be very interesting to see how you put everything together. Thank you for creating this beautiful art and I'm excited to follow your journey!
Great video, I have a osprey hiking 26L back which im traveling with in asia, and I bought a cooling back and cut the handels off so i could holde my camera and two small lenses
I bought a tenba byob 10 camera bag insert that I put into my osprey bag for a trip. It worked out great. I could fit my sony a1 with a 100-400mm lens attached inside. A 200-600 might fit without the camera attached but not sure.
@@ollenilssonen I could pack the tenba with my camera and 3 lenses. I had enough space in the top of my bag to hold another 2 tenba byob 10s. But I also use a large osprey aether 65 pack. Just depends on what you need to bring and what bag you have.
Hello Olle, thanks for your review. I am thinking of buying this tripod for long exposure landscape with a Fuji X-T2 and XF 10-24mm lens. I expect to do over 1 minute long exposure shots. Do you think this tripod will be stable enough if there is a little wind? If anyone here has experimented long exposure with this tripod in windy conditions I am interested to know how it went. Regarding your question about your bag, I have traveled with photo gear in such non-photography dedicated bags, and I usually protect my camera and lenses in between clothes, the camera being on the top. Other solution to declutter your backpack is to buy a medium size hip pack to store your camera and one lens, it is very handy. Cheers.
Hello, I need your help. I would like to know which Sirui tripod or tripod model you showed first, which is not suitable for travel and if that model goes well with the Sirui ph-10 Gimbal Head. Thanks, I love the content of your channel...
hope your trip to Sweden was great! this tripod looks like something to consider but once I saw the price tag I was a bit turned away... can you recommend one similar to this but maybe not as costly?
I pack my camera grear in drybags, and in the topp off the bag then i juse 2x sittning mats to projekt the grear. I also have the camera holder from Peak Design Capture Camera V3 Black on the bag. I fit my camera 24-105 f4 Rf with my Canon eos Rp in a 5L drybag from Sea to summit. Then i have a 8L Drybag for my sigma 150-600 and a 3L bag for batteris filters memory cards and so on.
Love the video man. I will also be going to the North, Tarfala instead, but would be nice to meetup and do some landscape shooting if you up for it, I am Stockholm based. Cheers mate.
Good stuff, man! I'm actually shopping for compact travel tripods right now so this was helpful. Recently purchased the Shimoda Action backpack for my adventures and it's been the best backpack investment ever. That thing fits all my camera gear comfortably for traveling and hikes. Cheers!
I have seen your camera review on Xperia 1 Mark iii. Do you recommend this smartphone for advance level smartphone photography? Currently I'm using Samsung s21 ultra and after seen your video, I am started thinking to upgrade the smartphone to Xperia 1 Mark iii. Please respond.
if you dont know much about manual control I also not recommend it unless you want to learn the manual mode. learning the manual control is fun but it's takes time to master. I watched lot of photography videos to learn the manual mode and it's worth it.. xperia 1 ii owner
Wow nice video :) where are you going up to north? I am trying to understand where to go (here in Sweden) around 20th September. Any suggestions? My goal of course is to stay in the middle of nature and take some good shots of wildlife:) if you have any suggestions please let me know :) you could help me a lot
You should do right reviews of compact cameras or cheap camera gear, that would be awesome video idea in the future and not always smartphones. You can do whatever makes you happy.
I have one of this, but I don't like it, my A7RIV turn down because of this tripod and because this, I need to send my sigma 24-70 to fix, and I expend 250 euros on the fix 😰
Hi Ollie, Thanks for your review as I'm actually looking at this very tripod right now. BTW, What is your normal, heavy-duty tripod that you showed at the beginning of the review? Cheers.

holy shit... you're the first guy I've seen to pronounce Sirui as it's written.

I might cover that in a video someday🙏🏻

Thanks mate!!

To pack your lenses in a normal bag I use a sock to put the lenses in so they won't get scratched :)
That’s smart! Thanks for sharing ☺️

The Shimoda Action series looks sooooo good. I've been looking at them aswell. :D

Hey!
I use a Sirui N3213X😃 it should be linked in my description in my later videos!
How do you edit your photos
Is gopro go with this tripod
hello, can this tripod hold a 2kg lense on position too or will it tilt down by itself?
It can hold in position. But it’s not really ideal😊
