Thank you for the video. I got this exact model at an auction just yesterday. It wasn’t very clear where the small catch goes but your video showed how I thought it went on. Also the wheel bearing covers aren’t showed in the manual and your video showed it. Thank you
I currently have it about 1 hour away from me. If you call Champion they should be able to get you a part number though if you are looking for a replacement.
@@upnorthmike6085 No, not wanting a replacement from them. They seem to use Bucher pumps...looking for the part number off the pump itself. No hurry, next time you get over there would be fine. Thanks.
Well it can't split wood... :) I hope to have a video on that again in the near future, but it's going back to the dealer since it's not getting OTA updates. Again. Ughhhhh

Just got mine setup. Love it! I have a 20 ton and had stuff that was too big, went through it like nothing! Cycle time is slow, but to be expected
I see whoever makes those splitters got the message and put a guard over the engine. Had to weld an one on my 27 ton. 👍
Between that and the major upgrade to the log catches, this is awesome!
Looks like a nice machine
I’m kinda surprised that 40 ton did not come with a hydro cooler.
I have the 27 ton and completely damaged my split wedge. Only had two hours on it.
Did you hit a tree spike that was hidden?
No, just a big branch knott that was in a white oak. Looking at the cutting wedge, it was not welded very good.
Can you post the numbers off the hydraulic pump?
