Can confirm this. It struggles holding any energy and if you get low and you will it will get caught by most jets at that br. The missiles are mid, fuel is bad, and no rwr. Shame as it was really good. This is my experience using it in air rb. You can make it work but its a struggle

Please note about the 90b fuji, the optics are really bad. They're too zoomed in so get used to having to use the commander sights. This is why I prefer the tkx (p) over the type 90's, just because the optics are much better. I also want to note that I suggest KVT over Clickbait any day, those American teams starting at 11.3 are just unbearable. I'd straight up say avoid grinding above 10.7 US, heck, try and enjoy the US tech tree and get the t29 instead, much better time for anyone to play 7.0 instead of the "premium br" range.. there's some great tanks throughout the US ranks.
What’s interesting is that out of all the packs on sale, MiG-23ml is one of the packs that isn’t. This can suggest that in the upcoming major winter update, there will be a new pack presale that will be a new top tier Soviet jet. In order to entice people to purchase the new pack, they don’t have the older alternative be on sale right now
Interesting. I want to grind the Soviet air tree since I have ground and helis mostly researched but I didn’t want to get the MiG-23ML. I could get the Su-39 since it’s on sale, but the smartest thing to do would probably be to wait until the next premium is released.

If Gaijin adds the Mig-25 as a premium I will get it right away, even if it's not good. It's such a cool aircraft and it would be funny to cruise at mach 3 in your average air RB match (if the engines aren't self limited to avoid damage). TBH the only high tier Soviet premium worth buying is the Su-25K, and hopefully it will be on sale in December.
Imo, there should be a fair warning to all the newer players who consider buying a 7th rank ground vehicle. (I know there is enough videos on YT on this topic but it's still worth mentioning again and again). Without proper lineup and without enough experience it's gonna be simply painful... At this rank you'll be facing mostly hardened skilled players who have better map awareness and most of the time you'll be one shotted (relying on armor at this rank is a bad idea). I'd recommend buying a lower tier premium vehicle first, get some experience and grind at least somewhat suitable lineup before buying a 7th rank vehice.
Same with the ra’am segol but I’m finding gen one is fine for picking out targets at distance or through bushes, if you’re in a city just turn them off or use third person
A-5C: don't really bother cause it sees 11.0-11.3 8 out of the 10 games you play in air. your missiles are decent but they are very attracted to flares lol. Also base bombing is basically impossible as the tornados just steal 2 bases. Just wait until the December sales and get the J7-d if it goes on sales. Also the gun is subpar + poor flight performance compared to the jets it faces
so if you are grinding US in sim the f4s is the best you can get, good speed enough bombs to take out 2 bases which gives you max points per 15 minutes, as well as being able to carry 4 radar and 4 ir missiles with those bombs incase you do get into any sort of dog fight. the only downsides is since last update it has been uptiered and now you can have planes like the mig 29 and f14 which will just ruin your time if they find out

@@cow5183 the f5c is much better for learning dogfighting which will help more for top tier, as well as being a lower br making it much more viable to learn all that. though because it is dog fighting orintated it is much less consistant with its credit and rp earnings than bombing is. also though the f5c does get bombs it doesnt get ccip/rp meaning you dont get a bombing indicator which is very helpful with bombing as you know where the bombs should land allowing you to fly much faster and at flatter angles making it more efficent
i found out some of the packs that arent on sale in the website are on sale in steam such as the a10, f20, f5c, leopard 2 canadian, tornado IDS. edit: nvrmind i realized someone already pointed it out kekw
The first top tier premium I bought was the L/44. Right after I hit 6.7, I decided to pick it up. And it was honestly a trial by fire. I learned how to play top tier by playing that tank, and I can say it seriously forced me to improve and learn as a player.
4.3 for the wyvern when the skyraiders are 6.0 is baffeling. Especially when the wyvern keaves them in the dust. The Wyvern makes almost every 3.7-4.3 attacker obsolete.
But it's still an Abrams. And Abrams suck in War Thunder. The massive glaring weak spot in the front makes it painful to play. Other players will always aim at the turret ring and it takes out your breach, a few crew members and in the worst case scenario also you engine, so you can't move, which means you're dead. You just can't afford to be shot at, unlike some other MBTs. Once someone hits you there, you're done for most of the time.
The only bad thing about abrams are the player who driving it. There are by faaaar the worst player in war thunder on average. Besides that, the abrams are the most balanced tank in the game. Decent Survibility, best mobility, one of the best gun handling, excellent firepower, 50. cal, proxy heat for choppers and a giant ammo storage (which you can actually use without destroying your Survibility)
People forget that the swedish leopard (Including the Critian ii) get a HE shell. This can be amazing for killing light tanks and SPAA. So it might get less smokes but it does get HE which is a great trade off in my opinion.

yes the reverse is bad. but its got one of the best shells at 10.3-10.7, you can upper front plate t72s. its probably got the best armor at its br and the aps is solid. literally the only disadvantage to it are the thermals

This with the same doubt, I think I will opt for the A-6E. I mean, in the B.R that is, its weaponry is incredibly good. The F4s is just as good, I don't rule it out, but I think that if we compare (in my opinion this is clear) I'll stick with the A-6E because of its B.R.

Hello people , I have played War Thunder for 2 years on and off my player level is 40+ I am contemplating buying one of the pack vehicles currently on sale as of 29/10/2024 yes there are a few pack vehicles on sale as of now and it where I am asking for your help. I want to get a vehicle for US tech tree, right now i am eyeing the T29 and was wondering if i should go for one of the Abrams instead? I have heard that you don't want not to rush into top tier but I already have a significant amount of hours in the game so please I need your opinions on this, I will mention I do have a 6.7 line up for ground but do not above Rank 5
I have all 3, and honestly, the F4S has been the fastest RP earner for the US tech tree grind, with me playing strictly Air RB. While the F4S flight model is far outclassed by many other fighters it faces, and faces some BVR missiles, with some practice you can make it work even in full uptiers, which it faces often. Don't set your expectations too high at the beginning; I mean, it is a Vietnam War era fighter taking on F14s, F15s, Mig 29s, SU27s and Gripens in full uptiers. When it is at its own battle rating or at a full downtier, it can be an absolute monster. I'm probably in the minority here, but I actually enjoy flying the F4S. I haven't played it lot lately, but a month or so ago I had a 9 kill game in a full uptier on Air RB, my best so far in the F4S.
I need help desideing I want a top tier American prem ( i e 9.3 or above so also high tier ) And I got a pretty good experience at top tier. The gm 1 is leaving soon and im not the biggest fan of it but its also leaveing M1 kvt i like that its unique but 105mm i am not sure is the best at its br. Also i can try grinding for a 10 late to pair up with it Click bait, i do like and i already have f4s as a cas BUT american teams as i heard do suck
I would actually recommend getting the Clickbait. Yes, a lot of the time american premium players often die. That's because they go head first instead of sitting back and using that amazing turret armor. So if you like to sit back and go into a hull down position, it works great. And just like any other tank it operates the same. Just don't expect the hull armour to hold it's own 95% of the time. (Click bait is getting A2 round so it may be something to consider too)

Personally I think th F5c is the best to grind, it makes bank while teaching you how to fly higher tier jets in a forgiving way.

hmm some of these packs aren't even on the website for me, for example the black shark and the dora pack. Some people say the t80 is on sale on steam and it isn't for me, but some other packs are.

Hello people , I have played War Thunder for 2 years on and off my player level is 40+ I am contemplating buying one of the pack vehicles currently on sale as of 29/10/2024 yes there are a few pack vehicles on sale as of now and it where I am asking for your help.
I want to get a vehicle for US tech tree, right now i am eyeing the T29 and was wondering if i should go for one of the Abrams instead? I have heard that you don't want not to rush into top tier but I already have a significant amount of hours in the game so please I need your opinions on this, I will mention I do have a 6.7 line up for ground but do not above Rank 5

Which is better to unlock the tech tree of US planes: F5C, F4S Phantom II, or AV8B?
I have all 3, and honestly, the F4S has been the fastest RP earner for the US tech tree grind, with me playing strictly Air RB. While the F4S flight model is far outclassed by many other fighters it faces, and faces some BVR missiles, with some practice you can make it work even in full uptiers, which it faces often. Don't set your expectations too high at the beginning; I mean, it is a Vietnam War era fighter taking on F14s, F15s, Mig 29s, SU27s and Gripens in full uptiers. When it is at its own battle rating or at a full downtier, it can be an absolute monster. I'm probably in the minority here, but I actually enjoy flying the F4S.
I haven't played it lot lately, but a month or so ago I had a 9 kill game in a full uptier on Air RB, my best so far in the F4S.

I would actually recommend getting the Clickbait. Yes, a lot of the time american premium players often die.
That's because they go head first instead of sitting back and using that amazing turret armor. So if you like to sit back and go into a hull down position, it works great. And just like any other tank it operates the same. Just don't expect the hull armour to hold it's own 95% of the time. (Click bait is getting A2 round so it may be something to consider too)
