- Here's action from Warbird Roundup 2019 on Saturday, 24 August, at Nampa, Idaho. The weekend show wraps up on Sunday. Watch for the tall-tail P-51H, and the Planes of Fame P-47G Thunderbolt. A flight of three P-40 Warhawks includes two from the hosting Warhawk Air Museum. A Stearman and an N3N share the morning sky with a pair of O-1s. The professionalism and friendly ambience make this annual event a pleasure to attend. Next... we'll have a P-40 ride-along video. Have you subscribed to the Airailimages Channel on UA-cam? Thanks! I love those planes
What a fantastic event! Never guessed when I was a kid staying up late to watch "Black Sheep" that there would be more WW2 warbirds flying by the time I reached my mid-50's than there were in the 1970's.
toujours le meme plaisir de voir ces beaux avions!!thank you véry much!!!!
Great video. Thanks!
You're welcome!
Awesome video! Looked like a beautiful day for an airshow. Honorable mention to the Canadian squadron at 4:10.
We had one here at Chanute AFB, sorry Rantoul and over at Willard Field at Champaign/Urbana, IL. Before that B-17, there was a Ford TRI MOTOR. Both sounded air worthy as heck!
Great view looking down the runway. Feller in the back seat of the red nosed Mustang with his iPad :D
I never get tired of watching these beautiful planes fly, my only problem is deciding which one I prefer most the P-47 or the P-51.
Great video and great to see these fantastic machines in the air.
Badd Ass video. Takeoff/landing coverage is equally as awesome. Five stars. *****
Love to see so many Mustangs still air worthy. Keep 'em flyin" boys.
Gotta love the P-40.
My uncle flew them in Africa / Italy.
I've always like the lines of the P-40.
inspiring, impressive; amazing achievement.
wow....if i knew this was going to be a great airshow I might of drove from Portland to Napa for this. Great video.
Now that is real flying . No computer here folks.
The best music in the world
Great stuff !
This airport is to be commended for allowing the photographer to be so close to the planes !!! Gives coverage visually and accoustally you do not see or hear at other shows !!!! Especially like the popping of the Mustangs on landing !!!
I agree with Wilbur. The engineers behind the Mustang and its powerplant never imagined the fabulous sound they created when unburnt fuel reaches hot exhaust on flare and touchdown. Also the rudder work required to keep them straight. I thought it was overdone in simulators, but real pilots actually work just as hard. Mustang take off - flap or no flap, thats the question. I guess its about fuel load. Liked and subscribed.
Thank you for not dubbing in some BS head banger music! Real Engine Sound!
I would love to go to this. When is the next event scheduled?
The overhead landing shots are great. Reminds me of the opening of "633 Squadron".
Thanks for watching. You can keep an eye on the Warhawk Air Museum website to see when they post the dates for the 2022 Warbird Roundup. It may be the last weekend in August.
That was like going to church.
