It's really great that you are back to discussing more affordable trailers. I saw quite a few of these Mantis at Yellowstone this summer. I was quite surprised they are that popular.
this thing is growing on me. The only one I saw in person was a cricket a couple years ago and it seemed pretty cramped for me. But this Mantis looks pretty decent. decently suitable for a properly sized human like myself at 6'5". has most of the bling desired. wont fall to pieces as soon as the pavement ends. isnt 50-100k. That is a very underserved slot. I would prefer a slide in camper, but those are thin on the ground for my truck. Im keeping this one in mind. thanks for the detailed info.

Can the a/c run as just a fan without air conditioning?
I was super lucky and got this trailer at a crazy good price. This trailer is an amazing trailer, it tows so so nice (I tow it with a Wagoneer). I was considering several trailers and this, being designed and built in the United States was a big reason I went with this trailer. It is very well designed and very utilitarian. I am so happy with the trailer I am going to buy another one of their lighter models to pull with my wrangler (unfortunately the Mantis is to heavy for my 392 Wrangler).
We've been inpressed with the utility aspect as well! So many hook points, the removable creights, the way to bathroom/shower works. Glad to hear you love it!
Big fan of the milk crates. One other idea I'd offer is color options for the crates. If your kids have favorite colors, they would also have their own crate. There's a company out there who makes this size crate that has 6 standard colors and 6 optional colors for only $1.00 more per crate for optional color. No minimums.

That bunk in the front should have a heightened slanted roof..it's to short to sleep in upper bunk bed. Otherwise that space capsule on 1 axle is perfect.....I live in my 06 F150 . I need that trailer.. can't afford it tho..
I would have made a wood or aluminum face to hide the crates. A nice finished look and still the convenience of removable.

I like the whole design and vibe of the Mantis. I believe I heard there are new owners. They must be holding up as you guys continue to sell them. Agree there are few options at this price point. Like all trailers they have issues. I.e. rivots popping, leaking canvas and that chassis and frame is suspect.
This would be perfect if the back door would be a garage door and open all the way and you could run 4 wheeler dirt bikes basically we need to have toy hauler off road trailer
This rig is going to be pushing 70k after you have to mod out solar, lithium, inverters, sleep able mattress.
The Mantis sounds like a high quality well built trailer... but... it also looks like the Pause and the Roamer-1's ugly sister. Sorry.
Not hating, but all the cuts made this hard to watch
I love this trailer, though it would need alot if i was to buy it. the biggest truma fridge, atleast 4-600ah of lithium, a max fan over the bed, as much solar as possible on the roof, a t.v on the wall near the bed and replace the awning with 2 OVS 180's. but now taxa is coming out with a tandem axle trailer... so there's that now.
