Thank you for making this comparison. They are almost identical. I guess it all boils down to the quality of plastic and articulation which clearly, bandai has the edge?
almost no difference in appearance i say except in a little bit colour off from daban model. the thing you should compare is the articulation and how it feels when you get your hands on the finished full body.
@@BeardedWolfKing Of course with daban/ any bootleg it always overtight/loose joint, some fitting issues and the quality of decal and plastic are lower. But if you want to costomize it (paint) then all of those downsides are negligible because you would make some minor adjustment here and there and using custom decal anyways.
@@Ren-bj4xm just got mine. Its honestly not bad at the joints. I only got frustrations putting on the plastic. Nothing pops off but the plastic is super shit especially on the v fin. Moved it once and the peg is gone. The only shitty joint was the base of the sub arms and i broke that shit too bc it was tight asf.
Man it was a nightmare putting on but it's grown on after he's all put together lol. They could've used a better material tho. Perhaps cloth tubing like the MKII's hose's.
@@user-lynKx nah they look weird those plastic bags suck I seen a hack where people use nitrile glove fingers. You get that real rubber look I suppose they were going for. Look it up

yes, posing bandai will always be superior, I only bought this bootleg to display it without armor alongside with the bandai one

The bootleg does actually have stiffer joints, and up close, you will see imperfections on daban's surfaces. But it's good enough for me.
Which one do you prefer? Honestly
Bandai ofcourse
no matter what, I will choose Bandai.
nah... i like kotobukiya kit more. :D
@@Ren-bj4xm might as well say you like GSC more too lol
i really can't tell the difference =))
Any problems?
some minor fitting issues are always present with daban, but not that extreme and super glue would always be enough to fix those.
@@justgamesandtoys does it have loose joints?

I hate those damn plastic bags in the articulations
me too

@@rockbuildaz7115 do the joints look alright without putting them on? like does keeping them off make him look odd at all??

I've already built that daban FA Thunderbolt and it's not that great. I just bought it for customization.
