Yum Mandy...I must say Steven is always so complimentary to you and your cooking. You're a great cook and he appreciates it.. Gotta love it.. Keep the recipes coming...Love you two,💗💗💗
The channel, Moss Family, used the dried minced onions and added some water to them and they are the BEST dupe for McDonald's onions! Soooo good! Love your channel, thanks for adding some bloopers instead of editing all of them out, I'm enjoying it so much!
Helpful tip!! If your jar lid is stuck, wrap a rubber band around the lid and give it another twist. The rubber bands give the top of the jar and the lid some extra friction and makes the opening of the jar as easy as can be.
Sweet sweet Gracie. She lets you know what she wants. 💕 I love a whole roasted chicken. They are so delicious. Big Macs are our guilty pleasure so I’ll have to try the salad! Yummy. Thanks Mandy
Love these recipes! We make big Mac bowls all the time! One more thing I add is toasted sesame seeds. I add them to my meat once it's cooked and it gives you the flavor of the sesame bun! Love your videos and watching you and your family!
Love it when you break into song! Pour some butter on me 😂 cracked me up. You guys are so fun to watch and Gracie Lou the cheese fiend kitty is a sweetie! Not to mention…the recipes always look delicious. Keep them coming!
there has been a song on Instagram going around called "The Cheese Tax". It is about dogs running for cheese when they hear the cheese drawer open. However, I always think of Gracie Lou when I hear it.
Dave from Pittsburgh, good food to make: chops smothered in mushroom soup. Brown (sear) 4-5 porkchops on both sides. (Bone in or boneless) 3 cans of Cream of mushrooms soup, clean out can with little water. Chop 1 package of mushrooms. Combine into a 9x13 baking dish. Add chops and bake in oven at 375 degree for a hour. Dice done potatoes to cook. Use mushroom sauce to pour over potatoes.
I’ve always only heard it said with the hard “pap”rika but to each their own with potatoe, pototoe 😂 it’s what makes us all beautifully unique! Loved these recipes. Thanks Mandy! 🥰
Hi Mandy , if you have no twine , you put a slit in each thigh then you stick the drum stick in the opposite slit .. it will hold nicely .. I worked in the meat department, also the deli all of my life !! Your recipe looks fantastic !! I will give it a try !! Thanks ❤️
Your channel is just amazing and so down to earth to watch. The way the two of you act in the kitchen cooking together is reminiscent of me and my wife. We have tried several of your recipes and none have failed us on taste and flavors. Thank you for making suppers exciting and easy on two working moms.
Hello,Mandy. Just want to share something with you and your viewers…..I have a salad spinner with the crank on the top, that I use strictly for my hand-wash articles(undies and such)gets them spun out and dries quicker. It has a solid bottom so the water gets trapped underneath. Great for safely spinning out those small delicate items😊
I’m with you Mandy! I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Butcher Box. Been a member for about 2 years. The member deals every month make it a phenomenal subscription service! I’m going to definitely try that wild rice recipe, I don’t eat a lot of wild rice either, but I’m game to try new and interesting recipes! Thanks for the video!❤
@@carolekellypearce1667 I get a custom box, meaning I can choose what cuts I get. I get the 6 choice box, I think it’s $169. There’s so much to choose from. Ground beef is two-one pound packs, chicken breasts are 3-1lb packs. So although it’s only 6 choices, it can be as many as 18 lbs of meat depending on what you choose. Also, they have great member deals, and other add-ons. I usually end up with a box costing me $200-$230 per month. It’s only me and my husband, but we often give excess packs to our adult daughters to help them off-set their grocery costs, and I pressure can extra chicken and ground beef to keep our freezers from getting too full. It’s not the cheapest option on the planet, but the quality and convenience can’t be beat. If you value, grass fed, pasture raised, no antibiotic, hormone free meats NOT raised is commercial feed warehouses, this is an EXCELLENT choice! Hope this helps.
Thank you so much Mandy. I think I’ll do that roast chicken this weekend. I hope that little dab of mustard didn’t wind up on your pretty placemat. Love from Texas ❤🤠
Great meals! My hubby will love that big mac salad! That rice looked incredibly flavourful! And of course, you can't beat a beautifully roasted chicken. Thank you, Mandy! Hope you all have a great week! 😊👍
this video couldn’t have come at a better time! I got my groceries delivered the other day and they gave me a whole chicken which I did not order. I contacted customer service to see if they wanted to come take it back but they told me to just keep it. So I’ve been trying to figure out how to fit a whole chicken into my meal plan!! thanks for the weekly meal inspo😊
If you have some kitchen scissors and need your bird to cook faster, try googling spatchcock chicken. Basically, you cut out the chicken's spine (save that for making broth later) and flatten the bird. It makes the chicken cook so much faster and it still taste just as yummy.
Tip for opening jars from a 60-year-old woman. Get a pair of heat-resistant bbq gloves that have silicone dots or pads on the palm side. You have to put on both gloves, or this won't work. Then jar opening becomes so much easier! The friction on the gloves, pulling in opposite directions, is the magic.
Totally off topic, sorry. But Mandy your nail polish color in the wild rice recipe is so very pretty! 😍 It looks like a perfect spring color! Do you remember the color and brand perhaps? Thanks!
I so appreciate your videos! I am so inspired and I love how you and Steven work together. The big mac in a bowl will be on this weeks menu. Also, your hubby’s facial expressions are priceless. Thank you for great information and entertainment.
Mandy I always open my tomato paste on both sides, I take one side off and use the other side to push it all out! Much easier than dipping a spoon in it.
Just a cooking/measuring/ conversion tip-- because volume and weight don't measure the same, an empty 6 oz can of tomato paste only holds a half cup of water. (4oz).
The chicken looks fabulous. And, that episode on Everybody Loves Raymond with Deborah and the turkey, then throwing it in the oven without a pan, has to be one of the all time funniest things I’ve seen in all my 72 years of life.
I’m glad you posted about Butcher Box. We were just talking about trying it! That wild rice looks amazing. As soon as my husband saw it, he saved the video. I’d rather have turkey dropped on the floor than that tofurkey Marie made one year 😂 Your sweet Gracie inspired me to rescue another kitten. We have LillyBelle now. (Mind you, we do have 4 other cats-all rescues. They aren’t so much rescues as strays that just show up) We watch your channel often, but rarely comment. Thanks for your content!
I really enjoy your channel and recipes. Your husband is the cherry on the top of your channel. He’s funny. Thank you for giving me so many yummy recipes!!
I take the jar and smack the bottom of it onto the heel.of my hand firmly. Twist and open. The chicken winga.can be twisted on each other to keep from burning,or clip the tips off. You can cut slips on each side of the chicken skin next to the tail. Cross the legs and push them through the slits on the opposite sides of the bird. No twine needed. Hey from Montana
I haven’t watched this video yet. I just got home from a quick vacation and I’m going to watch it later but I just wanted to say I watched the video from three years ago called batter chatter. You made s’mores in a bowl and then you put them in a baking dish to harden and cut them. The whole video was you guys discussing and showing pictures of when you met. I thoroughly enjoyed that! I love seeing you two. Just young kids starting out. That was really good. Thank you!
Just like you paprika! I love Big Mac Salads, such a great low carb option. The chicken looked delicious. I like to add a cut lemon in the cavity also. Not a huge fan of wild rice but that did look flavorful.
Mandy, try doing your whole chicken in the air fryer. They are awesome and that's the way we do them all the time. Love your videos and can't wait to see the next one.♥♥
For jars…just use a spoon and put it in between glass and lid putting some pressure upward. Hope that makes sense 😂 For a copycat Big Mac sauce … 1/2 cup mayo 2 tablespoons French dressing 4teaspoons sweet pickle relish 1 tablespoon finely minced white onion 1 teaspoon white vinegar 1 teaspoon sugar 1/8 teaspoon salt No ketchup or mustard. But your recipe sounds delicious too so I’ll give it a try 😊
Looking forward to trying this salad! Here's a tip. If you don't have kitchen twine to tie up your chicken, you can use dental floss or crochet cotton!
We make Big Mac Salads at home too, but we call them “Burger Bowls”. We also add pickled banana peppers to them, for a bit of a kick 😉 Thank you for another great video ❤
No 'mayters' on Big Macs...tsk, tsk,. 🤭 You are 100% right about the Big Mac salad needing to be on the menu. They took salads off the menu in our region when the pandemic hit, and they've never brought them back.
Hey Mandy, everything looks great as usual. I would love to see a video of multiple ways to use over ripe bananas. Not just banana muffins or bread. Thank you.
Love those pampered chef prep bowls. I think that I use them for something every day! That baked chicken and the wild rice dish looked delicious! Thanks for sharing. 😊
I STILL love salad shakers. I have a reusable container but I don't use the storage for the dressing bc it's hard to clean... It "pops" the dressing open and drips as you shake. GREAT! idea. Big Mac salad will be on our menue soon,!
I agree with the hubby about mixing it all up. When I make a salad I make mine in a really big bowl and mix everything up real good. Is that the right amount of tomato paste on the rice? I have never seen a recipe where the whole can is used.
Hi Mandy, wanted to check with you to see if you have a recipe for a citrus salad dressing. Love your channel and your entire family gets involved with your videos. Truly makes that much more fun.Thank you so much.😁
I am from Minnesota, in the beautiful lakes and wild rice harvesting area. I have never seen or heard of a wild rice dish with tomatoes. Usually we use a poultry base. Interesting.
I love the salad idea for a big mac flavor. I make a Big Mac and Cheese. Same idea. Browned ground, pickle, onion and Thousand Island dressing. Then mix in boiled and drained macaroni and American cheese. I never tried adding shredded lettuce, but if I have some I'll try it.
Oh this gives me a great idea for a layered salad and maybe add a bacon layer and a layer of relish n maybe some toasted sesame buns for the top...I miss those shaker salads.
The salad and chicken recipes looked delicious. I would not eat a tomato based wild rice recipe. I have used Uncle Ben's Wild Rice my whole life and I love it. It is not tomato based. Thanks for the recipes and video.
Just a tip if you don’t have kitchen twine to tie the legs of your chicken … just get some tin foil and fold it back and forth like a fan and twist and tie the legs of your chicken. This was a tip from Julia Child‘s cookbook… You always have tin foil but, you don’t always have the kitchen twine she said to improvise so that’s all I use from now on… your chicken looks delicious 👍🏻

I LIKE THE BACON MORE😀
You should try cabbage lasagna its amazing I make it all the time instead of regular lasagna
I love butcher box! I even got my cousin in Florida to join and he even got a membership for his son!
I love how you respond to your beautiful kitty. Spoil, spoil, spoil those beautiful creatures! Thanks for another great recipe. Joanne in Atlanta
Yum Mandy...I must say Steven is always so complimentary to you and your cooking. You're a great cook and he appreciates it.. Gotta love it.. Keep the recipes coming...Love you two,💗💗💗

Helpful tip!! If your jar lid is stuck, wrap a rubber band around the lid and give it another twist. The rubber bands give the top of the jar and the lid some extra friction and makes the opening of the jar as easy as can be.
Also another trick is to take a bottle opener like you’re opening it until you hear the pop. This releases the seal so it will come right open.
Sweet sweet Gracie. She lets you know what she wants. 💕 I love a whole roasted chicken. They are so delicious. Big Macs are our guilty pleasure so I’ll have to try the salad! Yummy. Thanks Mandy
@@zullo3529 that's a good tip too.
I would just tip the jar up side down and bang it on the counter. Then twist and open.
@@maryjanekereliuk719 I wouldn’t. Banging a glass jar on granite is a dangerous idea.
Love these recipes! We make big Mac bowls all the time! One more thing I add is toasted sesame seeds. I add them to my meat once it's cooked and it gives you the flavor of the sesame bun! Love your videos and watching you and your family!
I actually thought about adding some sesame seeds also

I leave them uncovered
Ty!!
I’ve always only heard it said with the hard
“pap”rika but to each their own with potatoe, pototoe 😂 it’s what makes us all beautifully unique! Loved these recipes. Thanks Mandy! 🥰
At home we just call potatoes "taters". But not in public. We're not completely heatherns.
Potato, potahto.
Hi Mandy , if you have no twine , you put a slit in each thigh then you stick the drum stick in the opposite slit .. it will hold nicely .. I worked in the meat department, also the deli all of my life !! Your recipe looks fantastic !! I will give it a try !! Thanks ❤️
Tap the new jars lid on the counter lightly should help it open easier. Not sure why but it works. Love your videos
It does😁 I actually hit around the lid with the back of a knife 👍
I use that trick too! It works so well!

Stove gap covers are WONDERFUL! Look up the product. You'll see how much clean-up mess they can prevent.
If you added some white beans to the wild rice dish it would add protein and could be a stand alone dish 👍🏼. It looked really good
Mandy I always open my tomato paste on both sides, I take one side off and use the other side to push it all out! Much easier than dipping a spoon in it.
Awesome meal! The only thing I add is 1/2 a lemon, lime, or grapefruit. Yum. Bless you and the family!

My mother absolutely loves that episode of Everybody Loves Raymond! She hollers laughing every time it comes on!
I say it similar to how you do but I roll the R a little. You got it!!
Mandy
Your meals looked so good.l must try that wild rice. It is different from any other recipe I have seen. Hope you have a blessed week.
That BIG MAC salad looks wonderful. I love BIG MAC’S.
You should rub the spices in the palm of your hand to "wake" them up. Taste better. Just a tip my grandparents thought me
This big Mac salad is our new favorite. We make it at least once a week, sometimes too.

I say paprika like you do! All of these look delicious! Thanks for sharing!
Everything time your oven goes off when it's ready I think it's mine 🤣🤣 It sounds just like it.
Made the big Mac salad tonight for dinner. I really enjoyed it. Thanks!
Perfect timing, finishing up my meal plan. I know these will be added to it.
PAP REEKA! You are a wonderful cook lady I learned so much from your videos
I remember the McShaker salads. Thank you for the tip
MANDY! Omg we made your green beans recipe last night. There’s no going back Soooo Good! Love your channel and family. Also GO TIGERS!!!🐾🐾🐾
i have a variety of rices and plan on trying this with a few different varieties.
I have been making this salad for years so good
Mandy, everything looks so good there. Great job. God Bless you and your Family.
I have made the Big Mac salad! It’s so good. We like to put ours in a tortilla and make a wrap.
Love Gracey Lou and her demanding meows for chicken!!
It all looked so delicious. Will be trying the salads.
The Big Mac wrap was fantastic
Thank you for sharing that about the butcher box. I’ve been getting emails from them about thier meats. I might start getting it soon.
Totally remember the shaker cup salads!!!

Oh my goodness, I have never ever thought about opening both sides of the tomato paste can. Genius!
Yes I love that!!!
The chicken look so good and the rice. Gotta try it. Thanks for sharing 🥰
We make a whole chicken In the airfryer all the time! So delicious. Definitely trying the wild rice recipe
Good afternoon Mandy and Steven and thank you for sharing your yummy meals
Hey Mandy, everything looks great as usual. I would love to see a video of multiple ways to use over ripe bananas. Not just banana muffins or bread. Thank you.
Freezer then add to protein drinks
I say it the same way you do lol my husband used to say add some pap in there lol
The episode of Mr Bean when the turkey gets stuck on his head! 😂
