Jenny, you rock. I've never quilted in my life, but do know my way around a sewing machine. I just had to get the tool and make this. I DID IT! My plates are 21 pieces, but I DID IT! I had to add the extra to get the plate to lay flat, and oh, did I tell you, I DID IT! I think you are converting this sewer into a quilter! Keep the videos coming!
My mother asked for a circular table topper for her dinette.. I ordered the large dresden from you earlier this week. I am going to make this for her.My friend, Judy, was at your shop and brought me a shirt with your signature. I am a very happy quilter!!!
Welcome to the Missouri Star family, countessberrywood! Glad to have you and hope you love all the tongue-in-cheek humor that shows up randomly over the years!
2023 her and watching this for the first time. Great idea! I also noticed that Jenny is ambidextrous! Cuts with her scissors with her right hand and uses her left when using he rotary cutter! No wonder she is so creative!
Love watching your videos and also your daughter and daughter in law. I was going down through the comments and read some way back 11 years. Doesn't seems possible but for someone like you, it proves a lot of people follow you. Love this pattern and it is ideal for someone like me, who may be in a facility where there is limited space but a christmas tree and skirt this size would be possible.
Jenny, for my circles I put a piece of stabilizer on the front side of square, draw circle on the interface. Stitch the circle on the line drawn, leaving a 1 inch opening. Trim to 1/8 inch. Turn and press, Circle is already turned under. If you use fuseable, you can iron dirctly on the topper.
We just never what path we will be thrown on ....I am so sorry for your loss , and glad you have good support around you....thank you so much for you're kind words....I am glad I could help. Merry Christmas!
I search everytime I sew for your new videos. I think I have watched them all aboiut 10 times, & learn sometinh new every time. I have it playing on my laptop behind me when I sew in my sewing room & if I hear something I want to take note of I have a notebook & pen right there to take notes. You are entertaining & informative at the same time!! Can't wait for more tutorials & I have shared with all my sewing friends!! Lainie in Maine
Actually, I made a table topper for my elderly Aunt...she has a round table that seats 2, and she has been trying to find a cover for it! I saw this and put it to use!!! I have made the Irish Chain quilt for my Mom, and also the Jelly Roll throw for Mom too!!! I am now working on a T-Shirt/denim quilt for someone that lost 2 sons, and I had surgery yesterday, so am taking a break at the moment!!! I do love all the tutorial, and do enjoy the bloopers...we ALL have those moments!!!
Someday Iʻm going to come into your store and give you a big hug, Jenny. Iʻve learned so much from you and am enjoying learning to quilt through your tutorials. Merry Christmas to you and your crew - you guys rawk!!!

Jenny I spend every day with you. I love all your ideas. I just finished a twister weath in a charm pack I got from you last Christmas. It is just beautiful and so quick to do. All my nurse friends expect something homemade for Christmas and so I have several options now. I am pretty much homebound as I care for my 90 year old dad and quilting is my therapy. Have a blessed Christmas!
Merry Christmas and a very Blessed Christmas to Jenny and everyone at the Missouri Quilt Co. Merry Christmas, to all on You Tube , too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love this mini tree skirt. I just bought Easter colored fabrics to make a mini tree skirt for my mini Easter tree. The craft store (JoAnns) sells Easter trees and small boxes of Easter design ornaments. I've had a gold wire one for several years and now I can finally dress it with this adorable tree skirt. Thanks for this tutorial Jenny your fantastic.

Thank you for your wonderful videos and the threader. God bless, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Thank you so much for this pattern. I have made it in three sizes now and as you say, it is so easy. Thank you once again.
I have made four of these for my kids but in the tree skirt size. I made the dimensions 2 inches at the top by four inches at the bottom by 21 inches long. They came out really fab and my kids love them. I also made the size shown here and those turned out well.
Wishing you all a very merry Christmas and a prosperous new year. many thanks for all the inspirational videos and for the excellent delivery service. Pam

To make circles I use the little "tool" Sewing & Knitting guage. It is silver with a little blue slide on it. Place a pin in one of the pinholes on the blue wing. then measure the size you want for the circle. Put the pencil in the hole at the end of the ruler; swirl the pencil around & it will make your circle!! Easy peazy!!
I found you about two weeks ago and my goodness I am so addicted. I have subscribed to your UA-cam tutorials - can't miss a one.
