I know you probably don’t want to hear this because you just bought the new Sena, but you probably should take a look at the Cardo pack talk bold JBL. I’ve been using sena for the past 5 years and recently decided to just give the cardo a try. Everything about the cardo is Better than the sena. The speakers alone are worth the upgrade. It blows the sena audio quality out the water! Needless to say I sold both my sena 30k, and my old sena 20s for 2 new Cardos. Just give one a shot. Trust me, you won’t regret it!
I have seen some comparisons on youtube between the Cardo Packtalk bold and the Sena 30k. You have mentioned that the audio quality of the 50s is slightly better compared to a 30k. Do you have the option to compare this 50s to a packtalk bold to see the differences between the models?
Hey, do you know if the 50S will connect to my current SENA units for intercom? Trying to decide whether to get a 50S or twoi 50S's. Particularly I have the SRL in myt Neotech 2 so wouldn't want to havee to add another 50S to that!

@@TachySteve i just asked Sena Tech Support if the 50 series mount is similar and/or compatible with the 30k/20s mount and their answer was no they are not. Screen shot if you want it.
Turns out they will not connect via mesh intercom with anything other than a 50 series, according to Sena they are working on a firmware update for the 30k..... even though I asked and spoke with CS, who said "no worries, your Sena 50s WILL communicate with your 30K", key word "WILL", meaning at some point in the future, they just forgot to make that part understood.......

Yes it is the same size. When I originally spoke to sena they told me the mounts were not the same.

Sena now has a 2.0 update for older models I am hearing.

Should've waited. Sena is doing a 30k trade in for tge 50 series for a significant discount
