Excellent job on your Wyoming Film: Absaroka! Would love to know what type of camera was used for the majority of your cinematography.

TOtally inappropriate on several levels. Absaroka is the self-ethnic name and homeland of a Native American people, Europeans like to call "Crow." Their homeland is Absaroka. The name belongs to them and their history. Wyoming, BTW is an Iroquioan word, from the Susquehanna of PA, where the original Wyoming is located. By inappropriate, I mean misappropriated, Perpetuating myths is a form of propaganda, and ignoring who owns a name is perpetuation of ethnic and racial oppression. So scream all the denial and nastiness you want, but the recorded history is about misappropriation by illegal and ugly actions, and the name belongs to its people, who are entirely missing. It's pretty much theft of identity after theft of land.

A name belongs to no one. Just as your name has been given to many, it's simply used as a temporary identification while on this earth. Just as the land belongs to no single person, its simply used by who is over it currently. The words you say are appropriated were also appropriated by your people from an earlier civilization. You're the only one that's screaming and blaming others for actions neither of us had anything to do with. Take control of your own life and actions.
