Dale Hollow Dam 75th Anniversary | Tennessee Crossroads | Episode 3138.1

Tennessee has more than it's share of beautiful rivers. They're less beautiful when they overflow their banks and destroy lives and property. That was the case with the Obey River, until 75 years ago. This year, the construction project that tamed the Obey, and provided a fantastic recreational area is being celebrated. We are from Pittsburgh, Pa and in May 2018 we just purchased 1-1/2 acres in Celina, Tn on the shore line of the Cumberland River and we are building a new retirement home there in Celina. We can't wait to retire down there only 3 miles from the Dale Hollow dam. I love being on the water with our boat and fishing. Spring 2019 is going to start our new venture.
