Those two power supplies really add to the systems over all stability. Coupled with the paint job and those lights it really makes something special.Great job on this build man, I think you take the win on this one

My PC was only $799 and I usually get 600-1200 FPS in minecraft (Ryzen 5 1400 and RX 580)

Easy to clean with a pressure washer, just follow Hamish's example.
Its a good thing you got that RGB it increases the overall resell value by 55% and increases performance levels by about 72% (you could get that up to 110% if you overclock the RGB but its not recommended) 😂

Well time for a dad joke. Well the inside is all white geddit. A nice round of mega budget parts making a slightly better whole. Damn does that machine like to gobble power. I'm not surprised at Hamish's epic video, good job he isn't making films as he'd be over budget on filming by about £20.

Should have tried Linux on this system too, I reckon the OS and some games would have worked so much better 🤔😋
The issue with Linux is that the motherboard really hates different OSs, including Linux.
Just some games tho...
maybe not the ones most people want to play.
Honestly, I disagree, there is an awful lot of things you can do with Linux now. Most games can be run on the new Vulkan API yielding far better results than running them through Wine etc. Most of the popular games can run fine on Linux, even if they don't have native Linux support.
Most games on linux with vulkan? sure sure... fighterz, witcher 3, gta V
by the way, with this particular machine the gpu isnt a problem on linux, the problem is the cpu overhead on wine for any game that isnt linux compatible(including A LOT of older stuff form the 2000s)
While it's true Linux is more lighteeight and easier to run, it has an extremely limited and poor selection. Which is probably why they chose Windows to run instead.

This thing has a full service history, which was a decent addition too.

Down200 The average price for a 550 ti to in my region is $150. It sucks. The only deal I've gotten is a r9 270 for $30

That PC deadass has similar specs to my Dell Dimension 3100 from 2005 (512 MB of RAM and 2.66 GHz Pentium 4) - very reliable workhorse it was too; had it for a good decade until we gave it away to relatives in Bangladesh when our house was overflowing with computers and if they still have it, it may still be in working condition! So many memories on that PC, being the perfect machine to play GTA Vice City on; I remember the Sims 2 really pushed it to its limits, slowing the computer right down! I even managed to complete NFS Most Wanted on it despite the game crashing a couple of times!

On my birthday this year I built a cardboard PC to tell my parents that I really wanted a computer. In it I put christmas tree lights as RGB. (btw this method didn't work )
Edit: Almost 3 years later, I finally have my own (good) laptop

You can use the HDD, and that's about it really.

Not possible especially the cpu and gpu, the cpu's socket wouldn't fit any computer motherboard EVEN if you could remove it, the gpu is soldered into the mobo, you would destroy it trying to remove it.
Just let Linus try it and possibly screw it up.

That dell pc was my 2nd computer ever! My floppy drive even worked, I installed duke nukem from i believe 2 floppies and played LAN with my dad. Good times.

I use all the local Bootfairs, CeX, Ebay, and Gumtree. I check the Bootfairs every week, as I don't always get lucky with my finds.
