I condemn the lynchings in Punjab but it would have helped the common viewer understand the scene there better if you had also mentioned how sacrilege was also an issue before the 2017 elections in Punjab and since then some 300+ cases of sacrilege or attempted sacrilege have occurred and while enquiries have been conducted, the State seems to have prevented justice being done in those cases. That isn't an excuse to 'take law into one's own hands', but how powers in Punjab find it beneficial to keep the communal fires burning, is a point worth exploring. Thank you.

Agree. This incident of mob lyncing didnt just happen like this. It was a build up of peoples emotions and justice they were deprived of from previous incidents of sacrilege.
People who don't know that it wasn't a one off incident. These sort of incidents are happening since 2015. Pages from Bhagwant Geeta and Quran were also found which the whole sikh community also strongly condemned and were deeply hurt. So these arrogant religious and political leaders need to do deep soul searching. They are the ones who created the mob
