What avout using peimt thinner? Is thet good to cut the epoxy?
I noticed when mixing my batch it was already thick. Not runny like regular paint.

any suggestions on how to slow the harder time? on a 100% solids epoxy floor? is there any additive that would help?

Adding some suitable thinner may slightly slow down the curing. But usually just ask the manufacturer if they have slower hardeners

You noted not to use propane heaters, but what about diesel or kerosene? And, I have heard that propane fumes can get into the epoxy and cause it to fail and delam, is that true?

I am afraid that diesel and kerosene will cause the same problems as propane, especially if the fumes are expelled in the same area where the floor was applied. I have seen propane fumes damage and stain the appearance of the surface, although I have never heard of actual delamination
