- In this episode of Swazzle Puppet Studio we teach you how to use a belt sander to sand your foam shape.
Warning! This episode features the use of a belt sander. Equipment such as belt sanders should not be used by children. If you are underage, please get a grownup to help.
Always read your equipment's manual, and follow all safety instructions.

- Use the right tool for the job.

Spritzing foam with water will also give you a smoother finish. I use a spray bottle on a wife spray. You also get less little foamier that sometimes cling onto your foam because of static.

I have been watching your vids of you building the little elephant, will this series continue? I'd love too see more, like patterning the ears, trunk, arms and legs, also how you guys at swazzle personally make the eyes and focus them correctly and of course patterning the fabric covering, finishing details/techniques and colour details, accents and shading! I also just want to see how he turned out and how he moves!!

Its amazing to know about Sanding machines, can we use sand paper manually.
Sandpaper will tear the foam and it will not sand it.
