This little country mouse is so sweet! I love the way you take a feature of each animal that is unique to them, and create a pattern that once sewn is instantly recognizable as that creature. The mouses broad forehead, tiny little nose and with its eyes on the outside of the gusset verses the inside of the gusset is just a few examples. So clever! Your details set your little critters a part. Thank you for sharing! Take care

I wasn't able to print out the patterns so I know I purchased waaay too much fabric - & I'm already on #3 & 4 of your patterns, with #5 planned, now #6,7, & 8 purchased for. I do have a request from a total "sewing dummy" here. I have no idea about the interfacing-stabilizers. I purchased a couple of different ones, so I would have fusible on just one side and fusible on both sides. Could you somehow tell us in the videos "which one" we need for where? (A short "all about interfacings" video would be lovely too, LOL.). Or am I missing something in your videos when I am cutting the patterns out? I didn't have "fusible on both sides" and didn't realize on the cupcakes that I needed that on one portion so had to "make do and fudge" with what I had used. I think I'm ok, but would like to avoid that mistake in future. Hope this makes sense and sorry for such a "book".
PS. Ah, HA!!! I believe I've "cracked the code". Fusible web and interfacing! It obviously didn't register when I was cutting out the patterns. I wasn't able to find a woven fusible other than a stretchy one. I got one that is more "paper-like". Will that work? Thanks. This is very confusing- that stack of shelves full of interfacings and fusibles is intimidating. LOL.

Lisa would it be possible for you to do a video on the hand sewing needles you use? I am very new to hand sewing, and have found the ones I am using are hard to thread, and not the sharpest. I was wondering there are sizes that you frequently use and a good brand of sharp needles. Also, do you use a larger eye needle to thread easier? Thank you for all of your great patterns and tutorials. 😊
Hi Deborah, yes I should do a hand sewing video for sure! But for now, I do all my hand sewing with a Medium Darner. Size 1/5 Sullivan’s brand in Australia. Any brand will be very similar. I don’t like a small needle so these work well for me and the eye is larger so easy to thread! Win, win! I hope this helps 🥰

Hi my friend! Yes, just make sure your thread colour matches your felt and you keep that blanket stitch tiny. And carefully stuff the head without overdoing it. I wish you every success!🥰🤗
