Kawasaki strimmer is a defo. Good engines. The little mculloch hedge trimmer doesn't have dual reciprocating blades, dual reciprocating blades balance up the vibrations, you may find the vibrations will be tiring on the forearms because of only one blade moving. Always good to have it as a rough cutter for stuff so you don't damage your everyday hedge trimmers.👍

That explains the strange vibration I was feeling I was wondering what that was but didn't question it as it seems it was just how the machine operated! Thank you for the comment! 🍀

try running a tank full of Vpower petrol through all your machine's the detergents in it will give the fuel system a good clean out🔥👍

I do believe it is old old residue in the fuel system. This should wash out of a couple of tanks of fuel! Thanks for the comment. 🍀

I've found car boots a good source for brake cleaner oils lubes etc .. ask if you can do a deal if you buy a few I normally pay £20 x12 cans. If you scrap the ryobi take thr usefully bits off fuel cap pull handle etc .. might come in handy if you find other machines or you lose or break one.. I would invest in a spare blade for the mower you can have one sharp ready to swap then you can sharpened the the old one at your leisure .. foam air filter wash it out in neat petrol 👍

Yeah a spare good really benefit me. I'll take the carb, cables etc that sort of thing off of it you never know it could all come in handy. Thank you for the comment 🍀

You may find the very short blade on the muculoch a pain, a bit of a back ache inducer and harder to cut a flat straight top.
I find that i farr prefer a 30" hedge cutter to a 24" and this still goes for small hedges eg box.
Try a new plug on the kawasaki, and perhaps check or replace the fuel pickup filter. It could just be the old petrol has seperated and you have a oil residue that will take a couple of tanks of fresh fuel to dissolve and burn away.

Yeah the blades are a bit short! But we will see how I get in with it! The plug looks really new in the Kawasaki so I'll leave run a tank of fuel for it and see how we go!
