    Awesome ideas! I’ve already set un my Original to use as a health and wellness tracker, making use of all available layouts : menstrual cycle (yearly overview), mini-habit + weight tracker (yearly index), daily exercise log (monthly boxes), weekly body measurements (monthly layout left sidebar) and meals + drinks + snacks log (daily pages). I’m going to try to keep at it for one month and then trying out some of the things you suggested in different months to see which approach suits me best. I’m really glad you posted this video! I hope you’ve had a wonderful vacation! Welcome back!

      Wow! Your plan is very detailed! I really hope it works for you. If you do use some of these ideas, please let me know how you like/don't like them.
      I had an amazing time in Tokyo! Thank you for asking! Am feeling recharged =D Still thinking about my goals for 2018 but being away from the hustle and bustle of my life helped free my mind from the constant need to rush from one project to another.

    Nice video!
    I’ve been using a Cousin as my academic planner this past year and it has been working well for me, but I found that i usually only use half of a daily page to log my activities. I decided to challenge myself by using the Original for 2018, but felt really daunted by how small it was when I received it haha.
    Your video covered a few tips that I’m excited to try out. Thanks!

      Haha, I was the opposite from you, Anthony. I started off with the Original and then hated how little space I had and switched to the Cousin! =P Please let me know how your Original works for you when you've tried it out in 2018! I'd love to hear from you again!

    Brilliant video!! Thanks for sharing. You've given me something to think about - I had decided not to get an Original for 2018 but some of these ideas are very tempting 😂

    • @yukikosakamura6498
      @yukikosakamura6498  7 років тому +2

      Oooh! If you do get an Original for 2018, I'd be interested to see how you are going to use it! You can try implementing some of these ideas in your 2017 Original to see if they're suitable for you. After all, there are still 2 more weeks to 2017! =)

    Another AWESOME video Yukiko! I just received my four 2018 Hobonichi's (one for work, Japanese class, health/wellness and journal)! I'm very excited to use them all. Your videos have really inspired me! I'm also waiting for the 5 year journal to come in, too. Curious, how many and what planners will you be using for 2018?

    • @yukikosakamura6498
      @yukikosakamura6498  7 років тому +1

      4 Hobonichis \^_^/ So exciting! XD
      For 2018, I'm proceeding with my Cousin Avec as my main planner. I am trying out the Weeks as my on-the-go planner but it's not doing so well because of smearing issues. I might replace it with a Midori MD if I don't solve the smearing issue. Finally, I will be using the Original as my reading journal.
      I have two other planners, the Passion Planner (Kickstarter Campaign) and the Nolty, which I purchased in Japan. I have zero clue on how to use either! =p Still thinking hard!

      Yukiko Sakamura I use a postcard ad a pencil board for my hobo original. I put a sticky note on the back of the postcard to a master task list that I can throw away. I find Washi taping the index card to the hobonichi paper is difficult because the paper is a little delicate.
