Congrats on your win at Sick Week...no small feat! Never heard of you till 1320 covered you and you sir are a class flicking act. Your parents and mentors did something right!
Dudes been slowly improving this car since 2013. It just works. It’s super consistent and basically never breaks. He could drive it to the grocery store and it would drive like a stock mustang. The vct is a game changer. I have a built 13 Gt as well. Nothing like this but it does alright I guess.

Truely Incredible car. Amazing craftsmanship. Tune on that car is on point for sure. Congrats. Keep it up. It’s a mind blowing combo that races so much and goes so fast, yet is a drag and drive car. Unreal.
I grew up on 1/8 mi tracks in fact one of our locals is GALOT Motorsports Park Benson on of the biggest nicest 8mi track on the Eastern Seaboard. Love the fact that you guys keep it FORD. These "LS swapped " Mustang makes me sick to my stomach. Keep it up guys make it to NC.
Wasn't aware the car was that heavy. Congrats on the record. Quite incredible. Your cars have always been an inspiration. Looking forward to seeing what you continue to do.
Thank you! Yes S197 are big cars, and we carry more weight than most race cars being in drag and drive trim. We race this car at 2950 and that is not very light for a race car. I hear a lot of people don't believe that, but it is the truth I'll have to get some footage of rolling over the track scales after a pass one time.
@@brett_lasala I can believe 2950 in an S197. As much as I'd love to race an S197 or S550, it's too expensive to take weight out of those cars. Cheaper and easier to start with something lighter. Definitely interested in progress of your engine program. I'm not aware of another engine builder having as much success as you have.
All I need is a $400K car, couple extra $150K backup engines, a $350K MotorHome & a $200K trailer to haul everything and then about $2 mill in cash for the year and these guys are toast
Yeah. It’s big dollar stuff. Spending ridiculous amounts, actual working class can’t comprehend, to lose money for bragging rights. Doesn’t mean LSs were ever cool.
@@brett_lasala Jay builds some great engines. I purchased a gen3 coyote awhile ago he built. I've been 4.50s with it and am very happy! You have a nice hot rod!
We are very fortunate that head sealing is not a current issue for us. The coyote uses only 10 head bolts as you said. The head sealing system Fast Forward has in place has not shown us any problems and we will continue to push it harder.
@brett_lasala I assume you they are using some type of hoop and receiver groove setup? Once you do that it's kinda the best you can do until you lift the head beyond what that system can handle. I'm very impressed with the coyote especially short tracking that hard with a stock crank I figure you will be looking towards that new bullet sooner then later. Great job racing and being methodical about your program
That truck has all the power and some but it's gonna need a visit from the chassis gods, testing gods and a christmas miracle before sick week to compete/beat you. .

I wonder if people realize how much work it takes to make a car run this good! Awesome job! Love the videos.
Most people just see the money it costs and takes not the work needed.
Unlike other people he makes small changes and does a lot of test passes for 50 to 70 k you could have a well dialed in car like SR
Nonsense all it takes is a coyote

The under car rear suspension footage is awesome! Thanks for sharing!
It's one of my favorite shots also! I have some footage of it on a clean pass I need to upload. Watching the separation in the rear is cool.

Awesome man want to see you win sick week
Lol I love the friendly competition between Cleetus and you You both drive each other that is what racing is about
Pretty quick truck out there 😂 it’s always a treat to see you and Cleet line up

I am amazed at how fast the car is and let's see what people cry about at sick week 2024 cause the 2 piece front end rule didn't work for them LOL
this exactly lol
That car is amazing…but you sir….are in a class by yourself….keep up the great work…😊.

Well done! More content of the installs and pit work!!
It's such a sick build & just absolutely rips!
Kudos for putting in the time and effort to build and run a car this consistent.
you guys are doing big things with that combo man. Awesome to see
Amazing car. Got to see it and speak with Brett briefly at World Cup.
Sweet upload Brett!
Absolutely love that this little coyote engine can compete with the smx big block engines.. very impressive
It doesn't compete powerwise, but it's in a very well tuned chassis and they're utilizing the power very efficiently.
The mustang is 1,000 lbs lighter than cleetus lmao so not really competing, add 1,000 lbs to that coyote and see what's up

Awesome job! Congratulations on all the success with the combo! Your video footage is amazing as well, what do you guys film with?
Nice job on the new personal on the 8th
awesome car keep up the good work!!! pretty cool watching the "rivalry" between you and cleetus it gives you both something to keep pushing for.
Friendly competition is key to push cars faster! Cleetus is a great dude!

Congrats on another win! This thing is doin work!

that's one awesome setup
Great job. Keep it up.

Itll go a 3.9 with weather alone
“Pretty quick truck” lol
Great job racing, and great videos!
Crazy how good those Coyote engines are😮
Thank you
Love the car/build man! Appreciate what it takes to build and maintain fast af cars like that
Appreciate it!
Please always put that suspension camera in your races its the best shot besides the backwards angle of who your gapping 😂
More of these type of videos! 🙏🏼 snot rocket is a beast!
I just love the fact you drive the car... you do drag and drive and go to every race you can make it to.. that thing is unbelievably fast!! Lol
Thanks!
What oil do you use in that motor?
Lock up sounds killer
Untouchable CUZ!
Seems like the guys that have this coyote thing figured out are really dominating
Awesome sir, just awesome!
Super Brett. Congrats on the great progress. Quietly getting on with it, very professional. Glad you uploaded

Congrats bro. You deserve it. MSRTTF!
Great job great car
Oh my god that mustang FLIES down the track brother.
yes, indeed
Does anyone know if he ran the red TKM car, Kevin Mullins was calling him out on TJs channel.
i dont think so . i seen it blew up and he drove the wheels off it to not crash the car. what a job by KM
We did not get the change to race the galaxy. They had an engine failure in qualifying. But I'm sure they'll have it fixed up quick.
That Galaxy not ready for this car. I’ve seen it run countless times, it runs good. But SR is in a whole other stratosphere.🦍💨💨💨

Wow dude, 4.0s, insane
That's the same times John Doc ran with his old engine in Black sheep!
That didn't stay together or set records. Or do drag and drive events. Either.
Not quite the same thing
