I had been growing mushroom but followed the vertical hanging method. Have heard that few other growers are following your same method of tying the mouth of the bag with 2 inch long pvc pipes and NOT making any holes to the sides of the bag unlike the vertical hanging method. I have also heard that the production and lifetime of the bags are higher with this cap method. Is that true and like how, I don't get it 😢 please clarify mw
Thank you for the feedback. Yes this is a more effective way in the sense that it reduces chances of contamination, saves on space and more production..... give it a try
What do you mean by bags /grow kit, are they ready paxkage with spawns already? Or they are empty and one has to do the whole process of sterilisation and stuffing matetiral in the bag?
@@CarolleMN they are ready to fruit, substrate sterilized, spawned and fully colonized. Place them in your grow house and in a few days you will be harvesting mushrooms
🔥 🔥 🔥 Excellent explanations. THANKS For the information. Can I reuse the growing bags, for the next crop? Also, did you mean 500 bob as the cost for one of the polythene growing bag?
Thanks for your feedback. The mushroom bag will give you upto 2 kilos within 2 months of the grow cycle after that you through them away. The bags costs range from 400-500 bob. I am reachable on calls/ texts/ whatsapp through +254 112 645 423
