Those 78-87 Pontiac Grand Prix's were good cars. My mother bought a 79 Grand Prix in 1979. Glacier Blue exterior and interior, 301 2bbl engine, a/c and AM radio. Car ran well. Only parts ever replaced were the brake pads ,rear shoes and master cylinder. She drove it 8 years and passed it on to my sister who kept it another 2 years before buying a new car. Straight body, never any rust or rot. The 301 ran well. Currently, trying to locate that car.
Not a bad looking car but those were bad days: 305 Chevy dog V8, th200 junk transmission, mouse fur econo seats. The GO had sure fallen from its glory days
