@@runningchannel That's amazing. I like to think I work pretty hard; very very hard compared to a non-athlete. Then I hear stuff like this and it just makes me realize how far away I am from the real top end. It's not just "a bit more." That's how I feel about pro cyclists too. The better I got at cycling the more I realized those men and women are practically in a different sport. It's just otherworldly.
The amount of training and dedication from elites really is inspirational stuff, isn't it? You just don't realise the kind of lengths they go to to be at the very top of their game

Savage. I've done a half on a treadmill, once, and was hating it. It's brutal. Says a lot about the mindset that explains why he's a winner.

My max is 4 hours. Gels every 30.min and good music and its actualy ok once in a while!
