This is that "special" short video before a balkan video.
Also, for a very weird reason Czechia and Slovakia were autonomously cut out by the editing software without my knowleadge.
Mam nadzieję że będzie też oldest extent ale na mapie.
Great Britain was formed in 1710
Guess the software hates Czechoslovakia
@@jaycecoppen1245 the UK Formed in 1801, following the union of the Kingdom of Great Britain, Formed by the Anglo-Scots union in 1707, and the Kingdom of Ireland, which was its own separate entity
@@jaycecoppen1245but great britian and the kingdom of Ireland was formed later
Awesome! Could you make a timeline where you count the years from the establishment?
Although an interesting thought, *continuous* existance isn't all that useful to look at, since because of military occupation and annexation most countries will obviously start around the 90s or WW1&WW2. You also included all of the partly unrecognised countries, which is contentious
I don't understand Albania
In 1.991 comunism ended, but Albania became independent in 1912 from the Ottoman Empire
My guess is because they adopted a new constitution in 1991, the OP considered it a new country
Can you do an tutorial to make maps like yours?
They look awesome, and i would like to know how to do them, what program to use itc.
san marino is just crazy 1722 years, WOW
Amazing videos
Great video.
Poland was earlier than Andorra because the Polish kingdom was established in 966
He’s talking about them in modern ideology.
Using that logic, Greece is the oldest
@@pinghpin3 Listen, yes, Greece is the oldest, but Poland was not founded in 1989, but in 966, and from 1945 to 1989 Poland was under the influence of the Soviet Union, but what matters is that Poland was founded in 966 . as a kingdom and as a democratic country from 1918 to 1939 and then from 1989 to the present it is a democratic country and I do not want to argue
@@pinghpin3 I understand, but historically Poland is older than Andorra
This is interesting but it's sort of sad that you only classified it by current regime. If not, the order would have been much more different
There will be a video about oldest extents in the far future because all of the existing videos on that topic are utterly garbage. But that one isnt about it.
@@POGKPP sounds good, can't wait mate
The modern Romania exist since 1859.
@@POGKPP how do you know romanian?

Very interesting 👌👌👌👌👌👌
The foundation of San Marino in 301 is just a legend
Are these like regime changes?
Yes
Could you make the same with the other continents please??? 🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍
I understand what you were trying to go for in this video, but I think you should have based the numbers on international recognition/legal continuity instead of on internal rearrangements. After all, according to the applied logic here, current Hungary could have been marked as a country founded in 2012 (when the new basic law (constitution) came into effect).
(All of eastern europe in the 1980s/1990e, Luxembourg in 1890)
what
also why is the uk not 1707 that is the commonly accepted year when the uk became the uk
Ależ wyzzukana szczegółowość!
Albania got it's independence in 1912

Tourkia (Greek: Τουρκία) may refer to:
Turkey, a country in southeastern Europe and western Asia
The name of Turkey in modern Greek
The name of the Ottoman Empire in medieval and early modern Greek
Tourkia (Khazaria) ("eastern Tourkia"), designation for the early medieval Khazar state in Byzantine sources
Tourkia (Hungary) ("western Tourkia"), designation for the medieval Hungarian state in Byzantine sources
Just know I'm the definition of this emoji. 🤓
For the UK, you called it Great Britain. Great Britain is just Scotland, England, and Wales. Northern Ireland and those are the UK.
uh...here in Sweden on our 2023 National Day we also celebrated our country's 500 years so...sweden is aleast 500 years old not 214 🇸🇪
Read what he said at the start
Where is Czech Republic and Slovakia Republic 1993?
Technically should be 1918 - First Czechoslovak Republic
Bulgaria was created in 681
I mean u messed things up a bit
In 1990, our country simply stopped being communist, but this does not mean that a new country was created or similar
Continous existence is complete different thing. Modern Republic of bułgaria exist since 90s
Spain existed after 1492
Is it true that Sweden has never been occupied by a foreign power?
No, Poles landed in Sweden during so called "Zygmunt III Waza expedition to Sweden" and occupied many cities.
@@POGKPP Had not known that. Did they occupy all of Sweden?
@@Thrlta No, only a few towns
@@POGKPP So, never fully occupied unless we count the union of Kalmar as a Danish-controlled union.
@@Thrlta then you could say it about many countries
I would rather watch video about actual continuously existing countries, not continuosly existing regimes. For example - Poland = 1945, Albania - 1912, Hungary - 1918 etc. And if you will be doing video about oldest extent - please remember what is country and what isn't - in Poland we cannot talk about organised country before Mieszko or his father (about 900), but the most acurate date is c. 960 or 966 (symbolic), as previous states wasn't really countries and even if you count them as countries, they definitely wasn't Poland, as Poland was firstly united by Mieszko. Saying that Giecz is Poland is like saying that early medieval kingdom of Bavaria is Germany (of course it was germanic nation, but we cannot name it Germany, as first germanic country that included all of germans was east francia from 843).
For Poland it would be 1918 though.
@@cub8280 Poland was destroyed in 1939 and was resurected in 1945. There are no continuity from 1918 to 2023, but from 1945 to now we still live in the same Poland. Democracy was established in Poland not by force or destruction on previous order but by agreement with socialists
@@Macion-sm2ui Poland did continuosly exist from 1918 to 2023 though. Between 1939 and 1945 it was occupied, it's statehood was never abolished like it was in 1795. Albania completely ceased to exist between 1939 and 1945 because Italy annexed it, yet you count it's existence since 1912.
@@cub8280 I count Albanias existence that way because I forget that it was ocupied. And Poland was not only ocupied, but the whole structure of country was reorginized and incorporated into German Reich, excluding GG, I don't know you thoughts about that, but I wouldn't count it as Poland or even some kind of polish state
@@Macion-sm2ui Polish government existed in exile and it was recognized by most countries in the world. What about Yugoslavia, Benelux countries, France, Norway,, Denmark or Greece then? Do they also continously exist since their liberation date?
Also, if we'd follow 100% your logic "illegally incorporated = completely ceased to exists" then Luxembourg which was annexed in 1942 and occupied since 1940 should exist since 1944, not since 1890.
Ireland should be 1937 because there was Irish Free State in 1922-1937. And some countries were occupied by Nazi Germany and freed after 1945 although their years are early then 1945
Fake!! Lechia Empire is since 83839383938 B.C.
Your wrong on a large level. You are telling that all the countries in the USSR, Yugoslavia and Warsaw pact are new? Countries like Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Russia and more are much much MUCH older than you think. Ukraine and Russia is first roots are from Kievan Rus.
Bulgaria was established on 681 by Inn Asparuh. Georgia existed before The OTTOMAN EMPIRE as Kingdom of Georgia! Norway and Denmark are from the old North Sea Empire. Greece has existed before the Roman Empire, Byzantine and Macedonia. The only thing that you got right is the San Marino, Andorra, independence of North Macedonia and the establishment of Kosovo. Every else is wrong. Next time learn your history lessons and then make a video about them.
He’s talking about countries in their modern ideology
It's wrong, Russia existed before Soviet union aswell
Did no one read the start of the video???
