If you notice a lot of singers have taken a song and changed it or re-recorded it. But nobody can or ever will be able to change Ricky’s music. It’s done in a way only he could do it. He is my all time favorite and I’d put him up there with George Jones, Vern Gosdin, Merle Haggard or ANYBODY! The man and his music will live forever!

First time hearing this song. Very special memories I carry in my heart, my son died at the age of 27, my daughter age 22. My ex husband lost his 2 yr batte with lung cancer in February. We divorced because he fell in love with another woman and her baby after 30 years of marriage. However, I am a breast cancer survivor, will celebrate the 4th year July 15th..To God be the Glory for I learned to forgive my ex and held on to the good memories. Still the loss any parent feels when loosing a child is a type of grief that holds no words to explain. My heart breaks for them yet I know through the saving grace of my Savior, I will spend eternity with them! Great song!

It's the "country pop" I don't like. In the 80s Hank Williams Jr did "country rock" but it still had that country feel about it. The garbage that they laughingly call country now is just pop with a twang , it has no signs of the Heyday of traditional country music.

First time hearing this song. Very special memories I carry in my heart, my son died at the age of 27, my daughter age 22. My ex husband lost his 2 yr batte with lung cancer in February. We divorced because he fell in love with another woman and her baby after 30 years of marriage. However, I am a breast cancer survivor, will celebrate the 4th year July 15th..To God be the Glory for I learned to forgive my ex and held on to the good memories. Still the loss any parent feels when loosing a child is a type of grief that holds no words to explain. My heart breaks for them yet I know through the saving grace of my Savior, I will spend eternity with them! Great song!

I first heard this song and heard Ricky Van Sheldon sing when I was living in Antigua thats about 12yrs ago. My girlfriend at that time an Antiguian who is a country and western music freak. She had a big book telling you everything about country and western music and the artists. She loved this song and RVS. I fell in love with both the song and singer the first time I heard it, and still do on to this day 17th April, 2021. Truely his voice is golden. I'm from Guyana 🇬🇾.

I don't like. In the 80s Hank Williams Jr did "country rock" but it still had that country feel about it.
