Instead it's that this provision would open the door to predatory scheduling whereby employers would be in a position to coerce employees into waiving their overtime by accepting this abusive practice as a condition of employment. It effectively unravels the protections from the New Deal that created America's middle class.

Also, if you take a job for 40 hours a week. You have to work your 40 hours a week, if you continuously don't meet your 40 hours they can fire you. Employees do not get that kind of flexibility. We don't set how many hours we work per week at the minimum
