He was actually portraying maggie's character showing her how to act that scene out. Jackie is a perfectionist though and is very tough. This is why his movies turn out so good.

really enjoyed seeing these clips from Jackie's prime days of movie making. Wish there were more. He was so involved in everything... clearly driven by a vision he had in his minds eye. Although his comedy style is a bit dated now, I do admire his achievements and the work he created. He is an extraordinarily talented and driven man.

to not only act in your own movies but to do your own fight scenes, not only that choreograph the whole fights, direct the movie, produce, edit, and essentially craft the story and they do all this without story boards at the time...
