@@thelongranger55 you will get this code if the fluid isnt exact and is too low. These transmissions are very picky and need to be filled properly. When I did mine I had to drive it and check level and refill about 5 times before it stopped geting that code

Hi mate, I have similar problems with my Mercedes 2003 180 compressor. I cleaned shifter after transmission worked okay but when I started accelerating stay in second gear and when put in R or D have strong stroke maybe I have to change connector, but have to check if have oil licking. I am in Melbourne, where you buying parts for Mercedes? Thank you for nice video, can see everything perfectly.
@@immoklausen7332 thanks mate, I thinking is some oil in computer connection, I had problem with engine light and in service put some protection front of engine, but still is on control table stay engine checkin light.
@@zlatkohrkac4146 you are welcome diagnosing something remotely is very difficult. With the W211er, I only know your symptoms from the WÜK valve, low transmission oil level combined with a weak Backup battery. I hope you get it under control quickly. Can you report if you have a solution?

Hello Mac, good video BUT you are forgetting something VERY important. When positioning the new connector, one MUST first align it and then FIRMLY BUT SOFTLY PUSH IT IN until is totally seated. adjust the center screw and tight it firm without over torque it. If the car is in a lift would be much simpler.
@@BenzAddiction, I found a jewel; an E320 2003 in mint condition except for several maintenance issues, like transmission full service, brakes, engine oil, filters,etc. to make sure is up to date. Did all the LED inside out, tires rotation, deep inside cleaning (floor mats under black sponge totally deteriorated and stained it, but with proper effort and cleaners got it like new. Only 31,500 miles, one lady owner in South Carolina. I have a somewhat heavy gasoline smell when is full. Not the gas cap. Keep at it!
Hello, I had my mechanic replace the old connector for my 722.6 about 4 days back. Now I am a bit unsure after holding & checking a few times on the old adaptor. 🤔🤔🤔🤔I am thinking that the red O-ring must also be changed for it to really prevent transmission oil from getting into the TCM. Comments from retired tech from Mercedes service centre are most well come.
@@BenzAddiction I think the next best option to do, during next engine oil & guibo flex disc & water hoses change, I get my mechanic to check for oil in TCM. I am driving an average of only 900km per month. I like this car enough to commit in putting in USD$1000 annually for doing preventive small fixes - excluding cost for normal consumables. Since it is a 17 year old Mercedes with 205k km I am thinking of putting in Sonnax overlap valve kit at the end of 2025 during transmission oil change. Shifting is smooth enough for now but I do see comments in the U tube that it does bring about a higher level of smoothness during gear changes. By the end of this month I will have to decide on respraying my car with the original Travertine Beige metallic paint or change it to Brilliant Silver which was supposedly discontinued by Mercedes in 2005. Either paint color I will top the car's roof in piano black paint. Regards. Happy motoring.

Sounds very complicated, might be missing connection or a loose contact, who knows....
What the name of the plug? It'll be easier to find a replacement if we know what to look for.

Do you only have the problem when the engine is cold? Then replace the WÜK valve... If not, check the transmission bearing

I did not, I only lost approximately 100cc of fluid.

Don't overhink mate, dry the harness completely and check again every few weeks to make sure it is solved.
