Miss music like this. I remember when I met prince be in Newport mall Jersey city new jersey in the 90 s . He was so cool and humble. I'm now 42 and it sounds so new
Your so lucky!I wish I met him. Though I think I felt his spirit once ( probably sounds crazy to most people. ) I felt him and Japanese AV actress Nozomi Momoi. I felt deep beautiful love from both experiences. Both gentle and good human beings. What happened was I was listening to " set adrift on memories bliss " and I though to myself " this is one of my favorite songs " all of a sudden I saw a mental image of prince Be and felt a strong hand on my shoulder very clearly and saw him smile. As for Nozomi Momoi I was thinking of how her and her boyfriend were murdered and how the killer was never found and I was thinking how they were just humans like everyone and their future was taken from them and how they wanted to get married and of the enjoyment and happiness she brought to me and so many people with her great sex skills and kind personality and all of a sudden I saw a mental image of her ( this time even more clear than the Prince B one : I saw her smile and I felt someone in my head and heart almost sort of say " I'm OK and I know what you feel for me and I love you and everyone of my fans too. " I felt this so strongly I actually fell to my knees and wept tears of what I can only describe as LOVE. " I have never in my entire live had a more beautiful feeling than that experience. Anyway to everyone in the comments section your welcome to disbelieve if it makes your lives easier. I wish you well.
Is Prince Be the big man the lead singer in P.M. Dawn? Tell me Please!!! I had their CD and always loved them but, I didn't know what happened to them so, please let me know and when did Prince Be pass and if he is the lead vocals !!! Thank You.
@@aprilecrider6989. Yes he is the lead singer of the group. He passed away in 2016 due to having kidney failure. He also suffered from diabetes complications as well. It was so bad that his lower right leg had to be amputated. Doc G and K.R.O.K has taken over the group. If you want the full story on how there's a new line up, there's a story on them on this platform called "I love the 90's". The story on them came out a few months ago. You'll find it very interesting.
No doubt The lyrics are arguably more sweet even than Die without You "Pass right by the diamond, that's trying to be perfect for you" human frailty and flaws - "Sometimes I hate this place"
I got the Senseless (1998) soundtrack too. Just got it from Amazon.com two weeks ago. If it wasn't for me being a HUGE fan of Marlon Wayans I wouldn't have even known about this underrated song by P.M. Dawn.
That's because none of those tasteless and punk ass millennials been to this page yet. Not all millennials have shitty musical taste, but a ton of them do.
It's on the Senseless soundtrack. Unless there's some international edition of the album I'm not familiar with, it is definitely NOT on Dearest Christian. And I've got like 3 copies.
Oh mylanta! I know you lying!! :) cyanide you've done it again!!! I was jawdropped in disbelief when I saw this on my home page!!!! You've restored the precious gem lost from this viral world. Now if you'll excuse me while I get my thumbs up liking & favoriting on :) (In an Ice Cube warcry) YAY YAYEEEE!!! XD
@cyanide4kicks Dont know how to thank you friend, I had the single to this (on 'moving on up') but lost it years ago, I randomly youtubed it tonight and the memories are flooding back to me now. It reminds me of days long passed of a pure hearted naive teenager who thought finding love was as easy as the feeling the emotion behind this song, a love still yearned for to this very day. Peace :)
I love it. PM DAWN!

This song is definitely for weddings👍! Been a fan of their music since 91!
Wow. I didn't even know this song existed until after Prince Be passed. Its great, right up there with "I'd Die Without You".

@@gmcneoplan84 I forgot all about this song!!!!!!! PM Got more hidden gems than some groups got actual hits!!!!
This is the only album I dont have by PM Dawn... I definetly have to get it after hearing this!!!
Prince Be was one of the kings of emoting how he truly felt about a woman and relationships back in the 90s.
Very rare you see a song without a dislike, there is nothing to dislike about this..#Masterpiece
