Big eye can steal a monster permanently. It’s better to have it and not need it rather than need it and not have it. Depending on the monster you steal can depend on what you do with it. Ie link climb, Or just swing constantly. And Zeus needs any XYZ monster on the field to battle for you to overlay onto an XYZ monster. So if you’re facing Kash you can swing something into one of their XYZ’s and then bring Zeus on top of your defence position big eye. There honestly aren’t any other XYZ’s really worth running since Mind Hackers ban. But if you feel like you need Zeus to out your opponents field, Big Eye is a nice choice to run due to how easy it is to have multiple level 7’s on the field in DM these days. I’m sure there are other solutions and reasons to answer your questions. But those are what come to my head.

summon limit, and use piercing of darkness with the skill drain, sick combo. circle should be at one. use like 3 upstart goblins theres no downside to it. not to mention wonder wand. my dm draw power is insane. go through 20 cards each time. always get my summon limit or SD. EDIT: also magician's restage and magician's left and right hand are amazing for control. It stops the evenly, the lightning storm the feather duster the dark ruler the SUPER POLY. so good. just dish souls and summon DM. then bring souls back with restage. send restage plus whatever or by itself, draw, then search for which hand you want.
U can actually use the fusion spell in your battle phase too to get an extra monster attack which throws ppl off alot and is rly strong, it also dodges effects who try to banish or destroy a monster u can fuse with.

the trouble was the dark magician cards, get rid of them and replace them with labyrinth ones or spright ones and the deck sudently becomes MUCH better
I wish they would free Dragoon in master duel, if DPE didn't deserve a ban then Dragoon doesn't either. I'm not a TCG player, so I never had a chancce to play Dragoon :(
its not good in the tcg anyway. even when verte was around it was just another piece in an endboard which was probably unbreakable without dragon so why play the brick or its the only card you end on which literally any deck could play through without problem provided they have access to unicorn (which is all the decks). tldr it didn't really do anything cus we already had plenty of outs to the card anyway and running 2 normal monsters in your deck just makes it a brick. you didn't miss anything
Im a casual player but can you try soul servant send pharaonic advent to grave. Send two traps/spells to grave that being magic defense to revive pharaonic advent. either have dugares revive him, magic defense or play chaos phantasm to copy him and use itself as fodder. Then take tyrant throes and use navi to revive 2 dark magicians to lock opponent.. it aint competitive but maybe you can create or add cards that it might.. its fun to lock them and have eternal soul to revive dark magicians and link ladder to tenyi.. add in apophis to negate and have extra normal monster.. add in magical hats to create 2 normal summons for tyrant throes while sending traps like navi, magic defense etc to grave and revive dark magician and lock opponent.. its stylish and fun for content but it aint competitive 😂 add one aremasir adventure cont spell is fun too. Or shadow light magician soul to summon effect veiler to sychro summon formula and get a draw.. with magicians rod negated you can still synchro summon into junk speeder.. deck dont have much space but its nice to pull out 5 synchrons tuner and create something thinking your DM deck is done.

@@sobbles6242 floodgates are still good, but i would say hand traps are better and take priority since if your running a low hand trap count with alot of floodgates youll just lose whenever you dont go first, while hand traps are good going 1st and 2nd

I've always felt Upstart Goblin is just a filler card. It just replaces a single card. Is there no better search cards or draw cards? Can you make a top tier deck that has every form of summoning with only single copies and multiple archetypes? I'd love to see a deck with fusion, ritual, synchro, xyz, pendulum, link. Have it all with no doubles and make it work flawlessly.
That's true in most decks but DM has the ability to stack your deck with Soul Servant and Circle so it's a little more valuable here. This trick doesn't really work with something like Desires.

Sam, this profile is a few steps back from the last one. Not playing Prep cause of Droll is ludicrous. The deck has ALWAYS lost to Droll. Say you don't play Prep...ok, they Droll IOC still so you can't search anything with Rod still. Or vice versa. Or you can't draw off of Servant to keep that 2 card Dragoon combo going. I could go on, but almost every line of play in DM looses to Droll. Not playing Prep doesn't help that. What is your obsession with Link Spider? Play Imduk instead. You summon it the EXACT SAME WAY AS SPIDER, AND IT'S A DRAGON. BOOM, SYNERGY. The two card combo to summon Dragoon is mediocre at best. You used all your best cards to put one boss on the field, and then you're really left with only two cards to use cause you need to save one of your three remaining cards to use Dragoons negate. You know what would let you put Dragoon on board efficiently as possible? RED-EYES FUSION. Yeah, it looses to Ash, but that's literally it. Off one card, you put your strongest monster on board, and put DM in the grave, which turns on your Eternal Soul, Soul Servant, etc. This deck isn't bad, it's just so...average for DM.
dam average for dm is REALLY trash considering this deck is just not good. plus ending on dragoon is not going to work as it gets outed soooo easily by any deck with access to unicorn or a monster with high attack
I’ve been playing around with the idea of a DM link to speed up the old, 3 piece engine of the deck. It would allow it to do something you need to interact with on field without sacrificing a pivot. Palladium Oracle Set DM + DMG This cards name becomes “Dark Magician” while on the field. If this card is Special Summoned, you can Set 1 “Dark Magical Circle” directly from your Deck. Once per turn, if a Spell/Trap card that lists “Dark Magician” or “Dark Magician Girl” in its text is activated, you can reveal 1 “Soul Servant” from your Deck or that is banished face up and add it to your hand. Is there a way to create and program this card into an emulator for testing?
EDOpro (I think that's how to spell it, someone else correct me if I'm wrong) is the emulator that all the Yugitubers use. You can build decks with any cards and then test hands. You can also duel against AI using meta (or previously meta) decks like Kashtira, Tearlaments, Salamangreats, Lightsworn Shaddoll Dino etc. with those decks you created, or against real players in lobbies. Completely free, but you just need to search the web for the download link

I always say this. I don’t know why a lot of duelists don’t use that strategy. It’s an extra attack and a save for a monster

I have a concern with this list gozen match will hurt you from locking you to either dark or light if you get locked to light the deck just dies
why will you get locked to light? whole deck is dark, except for timaeus, if you get attri locked by gozen, just quit yugi oh lol

Sam, this profile is a few steps back from the last one.
Not playing Prep cause of Droll is ludicrous. The deck has ALWAYS lost to Droll. Say you don't play Prep...ok, they Droll IOC still so you can't search anything with Rod still. Or vice versa. Or you can't draw off of Servant to keep that 2 card Dragoon combo going. I could go on, but almost every line of play in DM looses to Droll. Not playing Prep doesn't help that.
What is your obsession with Link Spider? Play Imduk instead. You summon it the EXACT SAME WAY AS SPIDER, AND IT'S A DRAGON. BOOM, SYNERGY.
The two card combo to summon Dragoon is mediocre at best. You used all your best cards to put one boss on the field, and then you're really left with only two cards to use cause you need to save one of your three remaining cards to use Dragoons negate. You know what would let you put Dragoon on board efficiently as possible? RED-EYES FUSION. Yeah, it looses to Ash, but that's literally it. Off one card, you put your strongest monster on board, and put DM in the grave, which turns on your Eternal Soul, Soul Servant, etc.
This deck isn't bad, it's just so...average for DM.
dam average for dm is REALLY trash considering this deck is just not good. plus ending on dragoon is not going to work as it gets outed soooo easily by any deck with access to unicorn or a monster with high attack
I’ve been playing around with the idea of a DM link to speed up the old, 3 piece engine of the deck. It would allow it to do something you need to interact with on field without sacrificing a pivot.

This cards name becomes “Dark Magician” while on the field. If this card is Special Summoned, you can Set 1 “Dark Magical Circle” directly from your Deck. Once per turn, if a Spell/Trap card that lists “Dark Magician” or “Dark Magician Girl” in its text is activated, you can reveal 1 “Soul Servant” from your Deck or that is banished face up and add it to your hand.
Is there a way to create and program this card into an emulator for testing?
EDOpro (I think that's how to spell it, someone else correct me if I'm wrong) is the emulator that all the Yugitubers use. You can build decks with any cards and then test hands. You can also duel against AI using meta (or previously meta) decks like Kashtira, Tearlaments, Salamangreats, Lightsworn Shaddoll Dino etc. with those decks you created, or against real players in lobbies. Completely free, but you just need to search the web for the download link
