- I hit the ground pretty hard and didn't want to move in case i had an injury i couldn't feel because of the adrenaline but as the nice lady said, i needed to get off the road. no major injuries and the bike has a bit of damage but nothing major.
Price of greasy roads sadly. At least you didn't damage any other vehicle, injury other people and you walked away, which is the main thing! I've been driving 10years, and I've yet to see a biker fall off, so I'm glad others came to your aide

Use more rear brake in the rain start rear apply front gently. Very easy to lock up the front with no ABS on a Supermoto, big brakes. Be careful and ride safe.

Dunno how long you'd been riding bikes when this happened but it smacks of inexperience to me. I'd have carried on round back of car as there was plenty of room in this instance. Also you were unsighted by the van so should have slowed accordingly to avoid anyone turning across you which you should have been anticipating.
City road is bad for cars doing that. I’d have done same pal.

BradRider ahh easily done. And yeah my bike is fine after a new bar and bending my pillion peg bracket back... See they are useful for something. Oh and I scraped my clutch leaver. Other than that and an aching leg, me and the bike are doing well. Although my stator, regulator and battery have kicked the bucket, it's all under warranty and she'll be back out soon! Stay safe!
