- Hello! This has taken me wayyyyy too long- not because it was tricky to do, I just procrastinated a lot with it ^^’
This animatic was my first time doing a lot more things; fight scenes, background brushes, blurs, creating my own characters with their story, and a lot more animation bits! While there are things I could improve on, I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished with this project. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it !

Thank you! I’m still working on the story as a whole, but for the animatic this is roughly the deal:
The story kicks into gear after a servant overheard a corrupted deal between the king and preacher. She knew this information would put her and her son in danger, so she tried to leave with him- unfortunately they were too late. She was killed to silence her, but her son was left alive.
Malcom, the son, flew into a rage and tried to attack the king infront of his family. Malcom was easily defeated, and as a result was banished. He vowed revenge, before leaving the kingdom.
Malcom walked to meet a gentleman that could help him get revenge. This gentleman was rumoured to make deals with people, and has the capacity to be a very dangerous person due to unknown ‘gifts’ he had. The gentleman already knew Malcom was coming to see him, and much to Malcom’s surprise, agreed to help.
So the gentleman took Malcom as his apprentice, teaching him over the course of a couple years to perfect the craft. By now the kingdom had forgotten Malcom. With the assistance of the two entities, he started destroying the kingdom on his path of revenge.
When he reached the king, the king refused to back down and was intent on slaying the’ beast’ tormenting them. So they fought, giving the queen and princess time to escape.
This is where Emelisse, the princess, witnessed her fathers death. She’d known Malcom before he was banished, and didn’t know why he was doing this (she didn’t know about the deal or the murder of his mom). In her perspective, he killed the king for no reason. So she vowed to take revenge, just as he had.
Malcom has no interest in becoming king. Killing the king was only the first step. He fully intends to destroy the entire system that killed his mother by ripping it out with his bare hands.
TLDR: protagonist mom is killed by king and preacher, protagonist gets banished, goes to learn from gentleman who could destroy a kingdom if he wanted, protagonist returns after time skip, kills king, princess vows revenge and the cycle allegedly ‘repeats’

Cool! I see a bit of resemblance with my OC story, but yours is a lot more intricate than mine
The "i am the righteous hand of God" vs the "i am the devil that you forgot" thing was honestly pretty sick (positive)
Not gonna lie, I kinda wanna see a sequel where the princess gets revenge on the main character from this one for killing her father.🤩 If you want to make something like that, that is, don't wanna push you or anything.👉👈
1:12 and 2:02 are so smooth it makes my brain happy

In all seriousness, I really like this animatic even tho it’s considered a bit old. I like how you took it’s lyrics and related it to your OC.
The transitions and expressions are so good!
this is SOOO good. the action scenes esp the fight with the king was soo smooth. the whole thing was very fun to watch and im curious about these characters

Oh, it's still copyrighted! As a result I make absolutely nothing from these animatic videos. I don't mind it though since I just enjoy making the animatics!
So the video can still stay up, but I don't make any revenue from it.
