Volkswagen Beetle 1600 acceleration 0-100kmh

Stock standard 1972 1600 twinport beetle - this car needs a service and some carb work at the moment.

For só few horses, thís is impressive!
I remember as a boy how quickly our 1500 Beetle got to 80km/h. Ánd then continue onto a top speed of 140km/h on the open road!

The power is really not bad, but the lack of torque is very evident on the hills.

I could very well be the 1300 gearbox. My ex partner and I have the same motor in our beetles and mine always seems quicker off the line....

Zwykłe seryjne 1200 z 1976roku chodziło 110 na 3 biegu. Ten w porównaniu do tego co był w mojej rodzinie to ślimak ;)
