Charlotte Running Company 13 Mile Trail Race

The Charlotte Running Company Trail Race used to be a perennial favorite of mine. It’s been a few years since I’ve done it since I’ve been focusing on road marathons. A new venue for the event piqued my interest. As I’m trying to get my trail legs back this season, I thought it would throw my hat in the ring for this one once again.

3:50 OMG a water crossing on a trail run in the cold of winter. I hope your socks were either wool or waterproof 🙂. You're much more hardcore than me. I would have done the four miler with no water crossing in the winter, now if it were summer oh yeah we're going straight through, not in the winter 😀.

Turns out we didn’t even have to get our feet wet. The swinging bridge was available, albeit precarious.
