The nose is actually steeper and more full shape on popsicle boards. The tail is shorter and less steep, more tapered shape.

Totally fine to ride goofy! It's very common. Probably 40% of skaters ride with their right foot in front and push with their left. I just happen to skate the other way. Enjoy!
