Wow great video! Love that bird feeder! And wow at the woodpecker! Thats brilliant to watch! And all that frost looks amazing! Proper winter wonderland! The aqueduct is amazing. The amount of weight that bridge must hold is amazing! Especially when it's frozen! Great video guys 🫶💚🫛
We're so glad we bought the bird feeder. It's so soothing to watch the birds and we usually stay at places for a minimum of a month, so we can put it out a lot. I didn't even think about the weight the aqueduct has to endure 😂. Thank you once again for your support 🙏✌️❤️
Hi both great video really enjoyed I grew up going to different canals my dad loved them he did have a fibre glass boat he just got it ready to go on canal and he passed he Would of loved a barge but to expensive I could live on a barge hubby couldn’t lovely birds the wood pecker wow I feed the birds we have two fat pigeons we call the George and Mildred lol 😂 keep warm both take care Clare x🇬🇧❤️🐦⬛🐦⬛🐦⬛🐦⬛🛶🛶🛶🛶⛵️⛵️⛵️⛵️🚤🚤🚤🛥️🛥️🛥️🛳️🛳️🛳️⛴️⛴️⛴️🚢🚢🚢🛟🛟⚓️⚓️🪝🪝🪝
Hi Clare!! The barges to rent were like £1000 plus a week to rent. So buying one would need a lottery win 😂. I told Chris it would be cheaper to fly to Spain for a week. What a lovely memory of your dad! I'm glad you have George and Mildred to entertain you. I think pigeons are the comedians of the bird world 😂. Thank you lovely Clare and yes, you both stay warm and keep those pigeons fat and healthy. 🐦🐦🐦🙏🫶❤️x
Hi guys. Yeah, we grew up next to the canel (or "the cut," as it's called in Brum). They say Birmingham has more canals than Venice. Great video, as always, guys.
Hi Gareth! You always give us useful info. We've lived near Brum for years and I didn't know the canal was called the cut! And I didn't know it had more canals than Venice, but it doesn't surprise me. We haven't been up to Brum for several years, so maybe we should check it out again. Thanks again for watching, we really enjoy your comments. Dione 🙏🫶❤️
@vanandrewschrisanddione The nickname "The cut" comes from the late 1700's to the early 1800's when the Navies (workers on the canals) started cutting into the earth by hand using picks and shovels to create the canals. Cheers Dione. 😁
Thank you so much for watching! We really appreciate it! We get suet balls with seeds in from Poundstrechers, believe it or not 😁. This time of year, the little birds love the suet. We also put seeds out, but they're not that interested. The downside is that we can hear them pecking at the balls at about 7 am, but we have gotten used to it and it doesn't bother us now 😂. We hope you have a good weekend. Dione 🙏✌️🫶❤️

Blimey!! That must have been cold to freeze the canal on the aqueduct. Interesting vlog. 🤗❤️🚌
As always, thank you!!! We didn't get a lot of snow, but we were definitely below freezing for about a week 🙏🫶❤️

We found loads of local places when we got Desmond. Places we should have known about but did not have a clue.
Thank you David! We will never catch up with all the interesting places you have been to 😂🙏✌️❤️
