But the Ducati .. is so amazing, V4R so beautifully wicked, it just talks to me, in a most amazing way. You touch the clutch, it’s LIKE, OH.. WE GO, as the engine just acknowledges you touched the clutch! YES, YES !

I’ve noticed that with Aprilias and Ducatis They’re meant to be rode the fuck out of and hate standing still. They get also run pretty hot but when you’re moving it’s an absolute dream an you don’t have to worry about it…. I until the valve change

I’ve noticed if it gets hot in traffic, a long pull to redline actually COOLS the motor off. It’s because the coolant pump is designed to be run at high rpms for racing.
I used to visit this Pennybecker bridge often during my 5 year stay in Austin and now I miss it while looking at this video. I did not have a Ducati at that time but I do have a V2 now. Man I wish to go back to Texas and ride my V2. I miss these roads.
A speed of 190?! Lol! Around 175 to 180 is the typical range for an average track day at level 3 or for club racers at COTA. It's quite rare to hit 190 unless you're a professional or exceptionally skilled!
I don't think people know that the panigale v4r is a complete race bike. The v4r engine is completely different than the regular v4 engines. The v4r engine needs a REBUILD every 1500 miles. It is a race motor. This is the wrong bike for 99% of riders. The v4r is a track bike not a ride everyday bike. You're better off getting the regular v4 panigale's.

@@nate9479 on the track this is faster, but on straight? Supercharged H2 will eat this, in order for you to get 220hp out of this V4r you need the 8200 exclusive akra full exhaust and that exclusive oil, in H2 all you need is ecu flash tune and easily get 250-300hp for alot cheaper.
@@nate9479this is the new one 2023 version, thats just the quote power by ducati but even now no one in youtube has been able to get that 240hp even after they got the full racing exhaust, i think its just on "crank" not exactly on wheel horse power. But if you watch some H2 videos you will see some motovloggers who owns an H2 they got atleast 250hp on dyno and even 300hp which crazy and scary btw.

Amazing bike. but its actually faster than I want. if I was younger I would probably love everything about it. but the bike is so fast that it is so easy to get into trouble on it. I own a Ducati 939 Supersport and its all the speed I need. I would rather have a slower bike I can ride faster than a fast bike I have to ride slow. on some small canyon twisty roads I enjoy my Ninja 400 more than my 939. my 939 is amazing on the big sweeping turns. and I'm sure on the right road this V4R is next level. but bikes like this Panigale always make you go faster than you should be going. its just in the nature of the bike. and I just don't feel like taking the risks I took when I was younger. but I would surely love to ride it on the track. with all of the protective gear on. does 1st class insurance cover your bike if you ride it on the track ?
No, your insurance stops at the gate at the track. They sell track day insurance though, $300 to $750 per day depending upon coverage and rider history.
0-60 times are becoming irrelevant with superbikes these days. 0-100 makes more sense as a usable figure. Doesn't help that the speedo doesn't refresh fast enough to get an accurate reading. BMW's cluster is where its at for that kinda thing.

I've never been super interested in bikes but I've always thought of Ducati as being the "ferarri of bikes"

I owned a 21 V4R and can confirm the valve adjustment is quite pricey ahah, got mine done at a Ducati shop for around $3200 if i could recall

Not really but it's not suggested. SuperbikeRacer did not go over 10,000 rpm when he first had his V4Sp2.
