    I worked with Taylor at a restaurant years ago. She was so quiet, i had no idea she did comedy. Then I went to a local comedy club & watched her perform. This was when she was only doing clean comedy. She was hysterical!! To be able to make a room full of people laugh without cussing or talking about sexual stuff is a talent in itself. Now shes all grown up & only getting better & better.

    Patiently waited for this video, because I had to watch rather than just listen! Taylor is so underrated, and I’m new to following Amanda but love her vibe and attitude.

    I didn't know that she was dating. It's such a mixed feelings cause I'm truly happy for her being happy, but I'm sad cause now I can't be the one for her anymore.
    PS: I know I never had any chance, let me dream

    A 529 account will also pay for trade schools, e.g. electrician, carpentry, welding, etc. Not just community college or university. Even if you end up paying a tax penalty later, you're not losing money in the end, and it does help your kids to have more options to pursue their interests without worrying as much about a financial burden. My parents didn't have one for me, and I ended up enlisting to get the GI Bill because I didn't want to have student debt. Anyway, my 2¢ for whatever it's worth

      If you are disciplined enough and invest the money yourself and your kid doesn't go to college you will have a nice sum, with interest, and don't have to worry about losing any of it. Invest the money in a CD, high yield savings or a bond fund instead.

    Taylor sounds like me but as a female, crazy everything we share in common except for the late show gig and that she followed her calling to get into comedy...and yes the plastic light did bring me joy

    Take it from an old Gen X'er. for me the -9 years as you age are the mind kicker years. Think the -9 years you get your brain wrapped around the age milestone and not freak when you turn -0 yo. This is stuff that makes us oldsters chuckle because we've been there, repeatedly.

    I love it (unironically) when people think After Midnight isn’t scripted. It’s just so hard for me to not see it. 😂 Maybe it’s my experience in production.

      People just truly cannot hear the difference I guess, it's why they go around calling any sufficiently good improv like Critical Role scripted even though that would be way more effort

    Hi Taylor, I'm sure it seems silly to say in response to this video, but thank you for your specials and for being so open about mental health. you are an inspiration. Everything you say about the experience with your parents is sometimes so close to my life that it's crazy. You make it so much funnier than it would be to live it. The part about bringing your partner to meet your parents is accurate!
    I love your show after midnight and I watch the episodes over and over again. I really appreciated the way you reacted to Mandy Moore being on the show and laughing. Looking forward to your next special. hope to see you show someday. Greetings from Israel :)

    Anyone else feel like Amanda was kinda annoyed with Taylor or kept making backhanded comments that showed her disinterest? I dunno maybe I’m just high, and maybe she was doing it subconsciously, she just didn’t seem to have the same rapport or vibe she typically has with other guests.

    • @jessicafaith8586
      @jessicafaith8586 3 місяці тому

      I honestly thought the same thing at first there was a little bit of shade, but by the end of the episode, I felt like it was really just she’s pregnant as heck at this point 🤔 I smoked during episode so I feel like by the end I was in a better mood and giving her the benefit of the doubt like oh no she’s just preggers 😅

  • @williamjohnson9377
    @williamjohnson9377 7 місяців тому +5

    I know she is pregnant but is she also super high? She doesn't seem coherent and Taylor has to save her the entire interview.
    Regardless, her voice is beyond annoying.

    • @swiftlymurmurs
      @swiftlymurmurs 5 місяців тому +5

      Well William, sometimes things aren't for you. She's doing fine, it's a smooth conversation, everyone has a different podcasting style. She does have a pretty nasal voice and a certain affectation that's very common among young American women, and that's just how some people talk!

    Heartwarming kid story: My coworker and her wife wanted a child, so her wife's brother was the doner for my coworker. I think that's awesome, as close as medically possible to a mixing of the parents

      There are SO many goddamn podcasts out there and honestly Taylor has been on most of them, so if the style or host of a certain show doesn't appeal to you literally go to any other one. Just off the top of my head I've recently seen her on Blocks, Conan Needs A Friend, Las Culturistas, and 2 Bears 1 Cave, so like, you're fine.

      And just in the recommeded videos on the side of this one I already also see she's appeared on Whiskey Ginger, Good For You, and Fly on the Wall. It's literally so easy.
