I had the clockspring replaced under the warranty. When I tested the horn afterwards it worked. Two days later I actually attempted to use the horn and it sounded sick. It died mid honk. It hasn't worked since.
thanks alot ,I've been driving avanti 2015 -its the same alantra just the name different - i have the same issue its just the hole steering wheel control not working for a long time ,and the horn stopped the last 3 days ,and i tried your technique and i figure it out ,soooo i appreciate for your advice 🤍
If the horn doesn't work at the steering wheel or the remote ( when you hit lock 2x or hit the panic button) would that indicate a relay or fuse,, or could that still be a clock spring?
So on my car I have the exact same one as you same here same model and the same brand and when I lock my car it doesn’t have the locking sound how would I replace that or how would I fix that

The horn works ok but when I Sound of the alarm so I can find it if I ever get lost in the parking lot it sounds like it’s dead
Hello, i have a 2012 hyundai elantra, just picked it up, the horn and cruise control and trip and reset buttons dont work i took relays out and bridged with metallic metal and the horn worked but when i put relays back in the horn doesint work and right side of sterring wheel buttons dont work also my airbag light is on, was wondering if you can help, thaaaanks🎉
You have to replace the clockspring, my gf is in the same boat, I already replaced the clockspring on her elantra, now everything on the steering wheel works except for the horn, I replaced the fuse, now I have to replace the relay.
So i have replaced the fuse itself and when I checked the relays with the pliers the horn works but when I went to an auto store they told me my car doesn't have a clock spring. My horn and the buttons on steering wheel do not work at all. Help 😁😂🤣😭
@@alliec1298you can call or visit a local hyundai dealers part department and provide them with your cars VIN number. With the Vin they will be able to get you a part number, pricing and availability for the clockspring.

So the dull horn goes off any time even in the middle of the night, what is that horn for? I need it of so I can pass my admission test cause I disco ect my battery every single day so it wo t go of
I don’t know shit about cars. I have this car and when I go to boost the battery the damn horn goes off and nothing I try will stop it. If I remove those green relay pieces, will that stop the horn?

My horn just stays on. For a while it just wasn’t working, it would blow once in a while without me blowing it but now it just stays blowing.
Can you test break light relay with this same process?

Your car definitely has a clock spring even if the parts guys can't find a listing for it.

What happens when you bridge the main one and no sound comes put. But the secondary one does make a sound when you bridge it
