Welcome to Big Book Summer, Leni! I'm glad you discovered the challenge at just the right time and decided to join the fun! Your description of Ducks, Newburyport was hilarious - I love your sense of humor. The Stand is a fabulous book! Stephen King is always a good choice for Big Book Summer. Wow, that is a giant stack of Big Books! Plus, you have more books for Camp Litsy - I really want to read James & have heard All Fours is strange but good. Enjoy all your books this summer! And thanks for linking your video on my blog - I'll share it on social media. Nice to "meet" you!
Thank you, Sue. I love the whole concept of Big Book Summer. I definitely recommend James (even if it's under 400 pages). It fixes everything I disliked about The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and highlighted almost all the things I liked.
Repetition of phrases in books DRIVES ME INSANE! Good luck with Ducks! 😆
Thank you. The fact is it's slow going 🤪

My paperback copy of Butter has 452 pages so I think it definitely counts, regardless of format. 😊
Big Book Butter it is then! 😄
