You cracked me up when you fanned the book A Dark and Stormy Murder. You said it opens so well, so readable. Then you said "the things that excite a book reader". You are so right! I love your excitement and enthusiasm. Only we book lovers can experience that. That little experience won't happen for people that read their books on tablets or phones. Just found your channel. Hope you are still loving cozy mysteries. I sure do. Thanks for your video.
Oh my goodness you are just pure joy to watch!! I love cosy mysteries and added a bunch of these to my wishlist! I hope you like The Thursday Murder Club - I absolutely loved it! Also so good to hear of a book set in Edinburgh. I'm from Canada but live in Scotland now and when I first moved here Edinburgh was my home for about 6 years. Instantly subscribed! xx
I love the feel of a floppy book. Fannie Flagg is the author of Fried green tomatoes at the whistle stop cafe that was made into a movie and I have read all her books and they are all floppy. Better than any hardback or regular paperback!
Great haul! I am collecting the Seaside Cafe series and stocking up other cozies. I started reading them about 5 months ago and just love the lighthearted mystery, the small towns and if it is a food one, recipes. Enjoy and I will be on the live In the Company of Witches, which will be fun.
I just added some more cozy mysteries to my TBR! 🤣The Cracked Spine sounds really good, and I can't wait to read the 2nd book in the Evenfall Witches series.
I did not even know the category of 'cozy mistery' and discovered It with "Churchill and Pemberly" mysteries by Emily Organ. ❤ So far my very favourites: Small Town with crazy😂 neighbors in Wales, naive story and a murder mystery at the same Time, two very different sleuths, wit, a detective dog, very well structured and loud unexpected laughs. Thanks for sharing. Regards from México 😊
@@KendalsPages I recommend that you read them in orden, so that you can see the character development of these witty ladies. Nobody talks about these books and they are so good and COZY!!!
I stumbled onto the Cozy Mystery genre during the pandemic in the public library and I haven't but them down since. The problem is that I keep buying them either from Barnes and Noble or at my local used bookstore and I have piles of TBR's....lol....Even though I have plenty of books at home I should be reading I just can't seem to stay out of the library. I keep going and checking out more books to read....it's a vicious cycle 😂 I becoming a book hoarder.! By the way I have the Witches series....haven't read it yet but I do have. See what I mean 😂
Amanda Flower has some great Cozy Mystery series'. I have read almost all of them....Amish Candy Shop...Magical Bookshop...Amish Matchmaker...Farm To Table. I love Amanda Flower she is the author that make be fall in love with the cozy mystery genre. She also had some great mystery series that I have read also. You won't be disappointed if you read any of her books. I own most of the Amish Candy Shop Series and all of the Magical Bookshop have the first 2 books in the Amish Matchmaker Series and Farm to Table but I have got to read the Matchmaker or Farm to Table yet...but I will.
Yay! Can’t wait to get to some of these. I decided to make November cozy murder mystery month too. I’ve only read a couple of cmm books. I already picked up The Thursday murder club and I can’t wait to get to it. Thank you for all these great suggestions! 🧡

Check out Murder with Peacocks, by Donna Andrews, once you read all of the other books :) It is my favourite cozy mystery series of all time (there's now 33 books in the series) . Great heroine, fabulous characters and very, very funny.

That looks so so good! I'm definitely check that one out. Thank you for the recommendation!
I got the same shirt! We can twin!! Love all the recommendations 🧡
Also, I think my favorite part of this video is how many times you say “they drop dead” 😂 Only cozy mystery fans can say that with such cheerfulness 🎃
Right?? It's a completely normal phrase in this context😂
